You wanted asks so... What's you favorite fungus and why? 👀 (Mine are probably oyster mushrooms for taste and uhhh forgot the English name, Schopftintlinge, bc they look like something you see in a fairy world in a video game but they actually grow in real life which is just cool)

oh my god that's such a hard question. btw thank you for the clowny pic, I love him <3.

I've never eaten oyster mushrooms actually tho they look really nice. And Schopftintling is Ink Cap in English :) they're just like "well I'm a bit old. time to eat myself" and that's very goth of them.

And since you made the glorious mistake to say fungus and not mushroom I'm gonna get sciency. My favourite Phylum of fungi is Basidiomycota (the "normal" ones with a stem and a cap usually) tho Mucoromycota are also very cool (evil molds)

of the Basidiomycota I have a few favourites tbh. The whole Armarillia genus for example (Hallimasche). You probably know them from the Humongous Fungus. Gigantic lads.

Bioluminescent mushrooms (self explanatory)

Boletes are just very shaped imo

and for eating my favourites are Chanterelles (Pfifferlinge) <3

#himmelübermir 💙 gestern der von #paris - heute #naturpur in #schleswigholstein 😉 ich habe fotos mitgebracht. vom see und von andern dingen, die ich sah: #herbstzeitlose #gänseblümchen und einen schmetterling: #vanessaatalanta ein #admiral im wald gab es #schopftintlinge auch #spargelpilz genannt - sie sind essbar, wenn die kappe noch geschlossen ist. und statt modezirkus begegneten mir zwei #wasserbüffel damen - ich bin zuhause angekommen 😊

Auf dem Heimweg hab ich noch mein erstes frisches Chicken Of The Wood (Gemeiner Schwefelporling) gefunden: Soll wirklich nach Huhn schmecken! Das freut uns natürlich besonders! :) Und paar kleine Schopftintlinge. Tintlinge zerfließen zur Sporenabgabe wie schwarze Tinte.
