Being in fandoms you have fictives from is weird, like you read a surprising headcanon or analytic fanfic about them and can just turn to them to ask, "What's the judgement on this one?"

Plural Prompts
I'm bored and have been bouncing around writing ideas in my brain for a while, so for anyone interested in writing some stories with plurality in them, here's some prompts for you:
Person A has started dating Person B, who is in a system. Person C, a protector in the same system, fronts to give Person A their version of the "shovel talk."
Person A, unaware of System B's plurality, mistakes a syskid fronting as age regression.
System A and System B, both masking as singlets, are pretty sure the other one is plural, but neither are confident enough to ask, and so both pull out roundabout ways of looking for clues one way or the other.
System A recently came out as a system to Person B. Person B is now realizing that, oh heckity hell, they may be a system too.
Same as prompt 4, but with some extra angst; Person B was dismissive of System A because they've had similar/near identical experiences to System A's "plural traits," and they're still a singlet, so that must mean that System A is one too! Basically Person B fakeclaims System A because they haven't realized they're also a system, and mistake all the signs as perfectly normal occurrences.
Person A and Person B (and more if you want) meet, and realize they both know the same person, System C! As they get to talking about their mutual friend, however, both become confused at how different System C seems to act with both of them... System C must explain that they both know different system members.
Person A is starting to get suspicious that they may be a system, but they know none of the proper terminology or that there's communities surrounding this sort of thing – they don't even know the word "system!" How will they fare, going in blind to their own questioning?
System A is out, while System B is not. System B is envious of System A for being able to be so confident of who they are, and decides to come out to them as a fellow system.
System A has yet to realize they are a system, despite all the clues in front of their face(s). System B watches from the sidelines as they write off every sign imaginable with an ignorant smile. (Bonus, if you like angst: System A isn't totally ignorant, they're just not ready to face the truth yet.)
Person A begins fronting for the first time in a long while, and must adjust to current life with the friends that other members made while they were away.
Person A, a singlet, was just recently introduced to plurality by their system friend/partner, System B, coming out to them. They're learning to recontextualize everyday moments that they previously brushed off.
Person A just switched in during a conversation with Person B, but doesn't know that Person B knows about their plurality. Cue Person A being concerned that Person B seems to see through their mask, and Person B being confused because they're pretty sure that was a switch, but they're usually told when that happens, and whoever this new fronter is hasn't said anything?? (Bonus: Person C is co-con with Person A and is trying to explain, but Person A misunderstands what they're saying as wishful thinking for if they came out to Person B.)
After System A's coming out, Person B has tried to develop notes and a process to tell each system member apart. It's up to you how accurate this process is.
A new system member is shoved into front shortly after forming. They must now piece together what's going on with their new life and brain. (Bonus: their exomemories confuse them further, maybe even implying the answer to their questions is something other than plurality/reality.)
Person A is a singlet who recently met System B, who are open about their plurality. As they learn more about it, however, they start to realize that they've seen something similar from Person C, and aren't sure whether to confront them with their suspicions or not. (Bonus: System B meets Person C and ends up being the one to confront them.)
We tried to keep these as general/vague as possible so systems of all types could find something they relate to and want to write. Go wild, my ducklings – I want more plural stories to read.

system questionnaire (not an ask game, but hey, it can be if you want it to be)
Inspired by a recent post of ours, have some questions to ask your system members to get to know them better! Because sometimes you want a bonding activity for your system that borders on introspection.
If we could shapeshift, would you change the body to look how you feel you look, how you'd want to look, somewhere in-between, or not change it at all?
What does it feel like to you when I have emotions you don't share?
If you had to choose one part of being a system to give a speech about (i.e. internal communication, new headmates, living in a singlet centric world, etc), what would you choose?
How do you see in the innerworld – first person, or third person? If you don't see at all (for example, if you don't have an innerworld), which would you prefer to have as your POV?
If you had to choose a new symbol for plurality, what would you pick and why?
Have you ever wished you were a singlet, or at the very least disliked being a system?
Assuming reincarnation is real, do you think you'll be part of a system in your next life?
What habits do you think the rest of the system picked up from you, or otherwise started doing because you were doing it?
Have you ever thought about how you would come out to someone who doesn't know we're a system?
If you had to make up new names for common system vocabulary (i.e. "protector," "system," "internal communication," etc), what new names would you create to replace these words without changing their definitions?
Do you think the experience of being a system has improved your skills at anything? (Such as becoming better at explaining concepts because you have practice explaining things to new headmates.)
If you could make one small change in the world to make it more system friendly, what would you change and why?

To protect our system from backlash and pluralphobia/ableism, we have certain rules on what we reveal about our system and to whom we reveal that information. One of these rules is that if we have an introject of someone's OC, we do not tell that person about our introject. They choose an alias/nickname so that we can talk about them around that person without arising suspicion, and if that person speaks directly to the introject(s) of their characters, we're careful not to give out information that could make them suspicious about who they're talking to. We have to reign ourselves in at times before we spill the beans, eheh.
It's important for our system, but it does leave some of us feeling a bit put-off if we happen to be close friends with their source's creator. Theoretically, this is a person who should understand you better than anyone else, but at the same time you know that... they just won't. At best the conversation will probably be awkward; at worst they fall into misconceptions about what fictives are and accuse us of being creepy, attention seeking, etc. As tempting as it is to say something like, "Hey, you draw me really well! I'm flattered!", it's just not an option for us, sadly.
... but damn do I want to compliment our friend's art of me in a personal way.

It's weird to be co-fronting but not have as much control as other fronting members. Like. I can definitely move the body, but I don't feel like I'm moving it, if that makes sense. Someone else is at the control panel and I am but pressing a button or two out of boredom. No, I'm not paying attention to the captain of this ship; I have my buttons and that's all I can muster up the energy to care about.

Sometimes I will find people following us while we are part of a group on their DNI list and it's like hm. I understand you probably did not know that you do not like me. But how on earth did you end up here.

Oh shit, so there is an actual market for plural prompts!! And here we just expected our ideas to sit in the draft box forever. Guess we'll be freshing them up for others, then!

While I can't say for certain if "extremely enjoys stories where a character meets another version of themselves and they must live together" was a sign of us being an egg carton, it is such a highly specific trope that I can't help but squint at how often we sought it out

Just gonna throw this out there, but it's... strange to say that all (keyword all, don't put words in my mouth) fusion/integration is murder when it can happen unintentionally. Like, what are you going to do about that? Charge the systems who may not be happy about their own fusing with manslaughter? You're just being an asshole at that point, as well as really off the mark about what fusion even is. If you think all fusion is murder, despite the system's own wishes or if the fusion was even intentional, I don't think you're someone that any system should be around, because all it would take is just two headmates accidentally fusing together for you to suddenly see them as a villain. And treating people as horrible villains for something they cannot control is – pardon the TV show reference – not cool, campers.

One of the things I dislike about being a fictive is that I'm never really sure how to approach NSFW fancontent, especially since my source self has an ambiguous age between being a teenager and a young adult. Most people default to seeing source me as a teenager, which I fully understand, but at the same time it's annoying whenever people act like this is a fact – especially because I am not a teenager, regardless of my source self's age. Always makes me feel a bit weird whenever I see people up in arms about content that leans towards source me being a young adult, because even though I know they're talking about me as a character, not as a fictive, it is a very strange experience to see people say that you are not your actual age. Plus there's the people who take their view of characters and assume fictives of those characters are the exact same as their interpretations... At the end of the day, if I'm going to see people talking about how much they want to rail my source self (which is another very strange thing to see), I'd at least prefer they take that ambiguity in a more adult direction, and people insisting their headcanons are canonical and that all of this NSFW fancontent is about me as a young teenager do not help my relationship with my source.

*clears throat* *stands on step stool* *holds up megaphone*
@pluralprompts is now an official blog, if anyone is interested
*points to @fluidfoxwritting123* I make this post specifically because I think you'd want to know it's up
*puts down megaphone* *looks down* now, how do I climb off this step stool

So, uh, we just deleted the ask, but to the person who let us know that we were posted on r/systemscringe... Thank you, but we don't wanna see that. They can stew in their own pile of hate and shit, but we're fine existing without knowing the exact words they're saying about us. Please don't send us screenshots of people making fun of us. It doesn't accomplish anything but make us feel bad. Which I know wasn't your intention, but we don't want that shit here.

(for context, Scabiosa and Apollo are fictives of the same character, just wildly different AUs, and Apollo saw art of the character they're introjects of)
Apollo: me?
Scabiosa: me?
Apollo: me?
Scabiosa: me?
Apollo: me?
Scabiosa and Apollo: me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me? Me?

Scabiosa, seeing the note that Blueberry Bird has been fronting for several days straight: Are you okay?
Blueberry Bird: I'm fiiiine.
Scabiosa: Do you need a break?
Blueberry Bird: ... Perhaps.
