Orlaag replaced Cardinal Ravenwood as the religious figure in the Tribunal and ended up being Salacia's legit ride or die; what if Salacia revealed himself to Orlaag — but he wasn't afraid of him and instead embraced Salacia as God
he saw all those creepy visions and thought it was a revelation.

#⇢₊˚⊹ 🩷∥ruby∥yo，ide yo !!#genshin spoilers#guess i'll suck it and 100% fontaine's new area#honestly the new underwater area is extremely underwhelming to me#it has music with deep water vibes. but it's not all that deep. chemin de l'espoir feels deeper#which is extremely disappointing considering the primordial sea is directly under it. in theory it should be deeper than it is#on top of that，the surface area it covers is TINY#i want an underwater area so big that it makes me DESPERATE for neuvillette's diving speed buff#but considering this is where the primordial sea is... i don't think they're gonna make new underwater areas any bigger#it also throws me off that the colors are so bright there#imo it should not feel like salacia plain when we're literally right above the primordial sea#also i think the new fontemer aberrant ability is dumb. in that it doesn't feel fun to use in the slightest#all in all i'm just really disappointed in the new underwater area#it seems like they released the best of the underwater areas first and it's only going downhill from here

As I was talking about the new movie with a buddy earlier today, I had an(nother) emotional moment about it because I realized that, sadly, Knubbler never got to hear the Song of Salvation. He had all the confidence in the world that the boys would find it, but he never got to hear it in the end. So, there's something rather beautiful about Murderface dedicating the SoS to Knubbler with his whole chest before the band takes to the stage and finally play it.

You are SO right. I like thinking that when Nathan told him how people feel bass if it’s not exactly heard, then them all hugging him after his near death, it let MF finally shed some of the abrasiveness and say what he wanted to. He actually CARES about people, and wants to acknowledge such with his chest now! I think Dick would love the Song of Salvation and probably download it on water and scream when toki drinks it in one gulp
I also wanna think when Murderface is running away as he’s controlled, crying for Salacia to get out of his head, after being told “you did this”, he was probably shown half-man visions of Dick burning in the explosive flames and told further that “You Did This”.

so: i am literally going insane waiting for the movie to drop so here's a list of stuff i'd love to see in it (a bitch can dream !).

the battle with Salacia goes wrong at first. they're losing or they straight up lose and at the last minute they get to revert it with the power of friendship and shit
Nathan getting glimpses of how having a normal life would be (bonus points if we see Abigail as part of his fantasies of the dream life) but, in the end, he chooses dethklok (sorry Abigail babygirl ily). ig it could go both ways too, with Nathan getting to have both things at the end (the girl AND the band)
the boys FINALLY getting to care for the fans/the klokateers and showing concern over them dying!!! (like c'mon man, it's about time)

I’ve always wondered what Oorlag’s deal is
Is he an incredibly creepy human man with intense loyalties to a demon or is he perhaps a demon himself, because he does not have a big human vibe coming from him.
Also a very very small part of me feels slightly bad for Crozier since day one of the Tribunal he was alone. Like Ravenwood was the only other one not associated with Salacia and in allegiance to him and I think they needed one other person so Crozier wouldn’t turn on them immediately or refuse them access to military related shit.
Like it would genuinely be horrifying to find out everybody around you is worshiping some ancient demon while you’re just some guy they will definitely kill.

Hey, I don't know if you've already got this question/idea/headcannon or not, but in regards to the icon that is Sally Jackson, I imagine that Sally is a nickname... What if her given name is Salacia (sp?)... That could another reason why Poseidon courted her, and it could be another reason why Percy is so strong... Making sally a legacy or something ... Anyway hope everything is good with you, kisses 😘
Lol, it's quite possible. Personally I like her being Sally, but I'm actually working on a fic involving Salacia and playing with the nickname Sally ;) It'll be posted tomorrow if everything goes well!
I don't mind legacy either of course, I include Legacy Sally in my own works, but idk, I like to think that Poseidon just really really liked her vibes which is why he courted her :P

As the Metalocalypse movie gets deeper in development (y tambn el concierto q tuvieron) I think about the possible things the movie is going to throw at us.
Obviously super cool metal explosions with a bunch of dead ppl and gore (yummy yummy.) And ughhh a killer soundtrack. Probs going to be one song, but I'm so ready for a new Dethklok song.
Like the Salacia being Charle's dad / copy is a BIG one for me. The show either foreshadowed it or they wanted ro show a clear connection with the two.
Nathan and Abigail. Just like.....a wedding? Or even a normal kiss idk. I expect the movie to at LEAST give me some Nategail.
This sounds super dumb pero skwistok. Gay ships wouldn't have vibed in 2013, but idk I feel like 2020s is a better time for lgbtq relationships in TV shows (at least way more accepted.) And I know that toki and skwisgaars gay vibe was played for laughs, but part of me feels there's something to it. Like when murderface was talking about pp shaped foods fucking skwisgaar says he would put a hotdog in his mouth and *looks* at toki or like when they held hands in DSR. It's like THERES SOMETHING THERE and if it was done with the purpose for jokes or not idk but rn they have the opportunity to take that shit and run. The biggest plot twist for skisgaar's "i sleep with all women and h8 toki" character would be "Oh shit I'm gay/bi/notstraight 4 toki AND sleep with women. "
Ugh murderface character redemption 🤮 I hate murderface but something like that is going to happen and Nathan is going to be in it.
Honestly idk what's going to happen with Pickles. He's either going to retire or fucking destroy his brother. Oh and the mom is going to be there too just don't know how exactly.
For character deaths my money is on Charles, Nathan or Pickles. Um I could be completely off and the whole band dies lmao.
Oh they're going to fight in space at some point. Brandon Small straight up just wants to make Metal Starwars like any other white middle aged metalhead. He's tried to do space stuff with dethklok and [AS] didn't let him or something. He did do Galaktikon so it might be out of his system by now.
I'm really hyped for this movie and I want all my dethklok questions answered ngl. At least show me their powers for real and tell me what those planet thingies are already.

Salacia Opposing Makemake
On 15 March Makemake and Salacia will oppose one another with Salacia at 9 degrees of Aries and Makemake at 10 degrees of Libra. They’ll remain within 1 degree of each other until 30 April as Makemake retrogrades back into Salacia. Then, for a few months Salacia will be ahead until it retrogrades back into Makemake and enters a close conjunction again 4 September to 21 October.
This is something that happens every year right now. Salacia has been opposing Makemake at a wide orb since 1998 when it was in Pisces and it will continue to do so until 2045 when Salacia will be in Taurus. Close oppositions (under one degree) between the two planets will pop up in the Summer of 2012-2019; in the Spring and Autumn of 2020-2030; then the opposition will ebb away with the last few in the winter of 2031-2038. What this means is that this opposition is currently at its strongest - we’ve had 12 years of it and we have 14 years to go.
The Planets
Makemake is relatively large for a dwarf planet - it takes 306.2 years to cross the zodiac. Salacia is the smallest of the dwarf planets to be named. It’s smaller and a little bit faster - it makes it across the zodiac in 274 years. Because of their relatively similar speeds, aspects last a long time. As far as I can see they were last conjunct in the 11th century.
This means for most people alive now, if Makemake and Salacia have anything to do with one another, it’ll be oppositional. And this is a real shame because I genuinely don’t think they’re naturally hostile to one another. Makemake and Salacia seem to work in the same area - how you use resources and systems.
My view is, Makemake takes a bit of a birds eye view of something while Salacia is about being very much in it. Makemake is interested in how things fit together and how to use that. Salacia is more about vibes. If Makemake wanted to sell you something it could talk you into it. Salacia would have a shop you’re naturally interested in going into. When I think of Makemake I think of nationalism, patriotism, and manipulating resources. When I think of Salacia I think of forms of media, ways of networking, and things that are hidden or hard to see.
The Opposition
When Makemake and Salacia oppose, look for systems that are hiding, or things hidden in systems. Particularly, look for things hidden in how systems made up of people.
Manipulative nationalism or cult behaviour strikes me as very appropriate for the Makemake-Salacia opposition. Basically you have the manipulative abilities of Makemake working alongside the hiddenness of Salacia. Malware, gaslighting, parasocial relationships and scams are all very relevant for this, but particularly situations where the core of the scam is how you identify and what you identify with.
The core lie to watch out for is “You can trust me because we’re the same”. The core lie to watch out for in yourself is the belief that someone is going to treat you well because they’re in your church, or political movement, or share your interest in astrology, or share your queer identity. We often think of scams, cults, abuse and grooming as things that happen to other people. In the UK “Muslim grooming gangs” have been a huge issue even though there’s no evidence that you’re more likely to be abused by a Muslim than a white person. It’s comforting to believe that evil is somehow different to your own community because it’s far easier to believe that than to recognise that the risk is always from people who look like you, talk like you, think like you, live with you.
So, yeah, keep your hand on your wallet. Be safe. Don’t put your passwords or bank details into anything surprising without thinking about it first. Explore new ideas all you like but remain genuinely curious, and that means not just staying open minded but also being critical of the person telling you about UFOs, or how to vote, or how to lose weight, or dwarf planet astrology. They might be just bullshitting you.
The Positives
You know what, it’s good to be part of a group, it’s good to be seduced, and we do have elections coming up and a genocide in Gaza to fight. In Salacia and Makemake we have two somewhat cerebral and manipulative energies in close aspect for a long period of time. Now could be a good time to sweep someone off their feet, or be swept. It might not be as meaningful as you think at the time but that doesn’t mean it’s not potentially fun. Propaganda and group identification might be kicked into overdrive for the next few weeks but that also means there’s possibilities to get a message out and solidify your groups. Maybe don’t expect truth to get as far as lies or genuine community to win out over cultish devotion - but we have the cosmic energy we have and all we can do is work with it ethically.
Also, sometimes it might be good to be a part of a crowd. Makemake is direct and Salacia is retrograde so now would be a good time for collective actions - the Eurovision fandom is doing this at the moment. People have formed relationships through a shared interest, got angry about the war in Gaza, and now they’re working out how to act on that. A movement emerges where there wasn’t one visible before. It emerges in conflict and sadness, but that’s powerful. More of that please.

Makemake opposes Gonggong along his MC. Gongong is associated with major upsets and upheavals and Makemake is associated with national identity. Pretty appropriate for someone who shocked the world by revealing national secrets
Brexit happened with an opposition between the 8th house Makemake (what the country is owed) and 2nd house Salacia (our place in a global economy)
Zelenskyy had a Makemake - Gonggong opposition along his MC, again, appropriate for someone whose election has led to such an upheaval and a change in Ukraine's self-image and image in the world. When he was elected president the Makemake-Salacia opposition had a positive aspect with him Sun and Venus which really shines a light on his charm and charisma.

I don’t feel like digging up to see what other thing I wrote so I’ll just write this on the spot dfjlThis is a very new WIP of a fic about Abigail running away sometime after DSR and having to resort to hitch-hiking. And wouldn’t you know it-she gets offered a ride by a mysterious long haired stranger (It’s Salacia-)
Music played on the radio to fill in the small seconds of silence there was between them. A new rock song she must’ve missed while she was kidnapped. There were so many things she didn’t realize she could miss out on and it took everything to not ask about what was the latest celebrity drama or what food trend was popping up, things she never really gave much thought to before.
“Your name?”
She quickly turned to her attention to him, “Excuse me?”
He didn’t seem phased, “Probably better if I give my first name, right? You can call me Sal.”
“Short for...?”
“Just Sal.”
Sal didn’t seem like a full name to her but she didn’t press further, “You can just call me Abby then.” It felt fair.
“Alright, Abby,” Sal said, “Just make yourself comfortable. There’s another stop in about an hour from here. In the meantime, why don’t you tell me about how you ended up there?”

tyr and skwisgaar keep in touch, and aww he's such a sweet dad figure. always wanting to know about skwisgaar's upcoming "concerts" and prying cutely for information about anyone skwisgaar's involved in ("saws you on reds carpets with a pretty blondes girl. you dates her? brings her to swedens, i cooks dinner!") it's nice, but skwisgaar for some reason doesn't have the heart to tell tyr that he doesn't exactly DO dating, so he puts him off and puts him off.
this gets more pressing after doomstar. skwisgaar starts feeling the guilt for avoiding visiting the man who's been trying to make a real fatherly effort for the last couple years. but he doesn't have anyone in mind to bring "home" to tyr's house. groupies aren't exactly an appropriate choice, he decides. but he tells tyr he'll come to visit with his girlfriend.
enter abigail. in charles' absence, she stepped in to manage the band ("just for the time being. it's not permanent." but she's not exactly actively helping them look for another candidate. as much as she wants nothing more to do with dethklok after the whole kidnapping thing, she can't seem to shake the feeling that she's meant to be there with them right now, that her continued presence in their lives is important somehow)
she notices skwisgaar seems distracted, off his game, and after a weirdly ungood practice session, she takes him aside to ask if he's all right. skwisgaar's never been great at being aloof around her, she cuts through his bullshit so fast, so he just admits it - tyr wants to meet his nonexistent girlfriend, and he doesn't know what to do. "needs to finds someone whats ams, y'know, classy. preskentsable. a nice girls."
abigail's listening to him intently. she's dressed in a classy blouse and pencil skirt, the jewel of her necklace resting below the dip in her collar. she looks very...presentable, doesn't she? skwisgaar swallows. and abigail is very nice...
"someones...smarts. goods to talks to, likes how we ams talkings rights now, evens."
abigail tilts her head at him curiously.
"maybes, uhhms...someones whats has beautifuls brown hairs? and ams nameds...aaabigaaaails...?"
she snorts a laugh into her hand. well, she has been desperately needing a vacation, and she knows skwisgaar won't try anything untoward... what could go wrong?
(this can also blend into Bed Sharing when they arrive in sweden and realize that tyr has put "the lovebirds" up in his guest bedroom...with only one bed)

"L" for Love at First Sight - MAGNATE
pre-preklok. magnus is (or, err, was) a moderately well-known local musician in phoenix. at 34 years old, though, he's kinda worn out his welcome. he never made it big, he's bounced between a dozen bands over the last 15 years, and now there are cooler, younger musicians coming up in the scene and man magnus just feels so old and bitter. maybe he should just give up music. what has it ever done for him except lead him to heartbreak after heartbreak (professional and personal)?
he goes out one night by himself. there's this new death metal band he's been hearing rumblings about. apparently the lead vocalist is like ten years younger than him and is definitely gonna be Somebody someday, and magnus is in a mood to drink and feel real fucking sorry for himself.
the opening band sucks, but then Abyssal Carcass takes the stage and the vocalist is broad-shouldered with long, silky black hair pooling over his shoulders and obscuring his face. he holds the mic in a massive fist, and when the first song starts and he opens his mouth to roar, magnus' heart nearly forgets how to beat. he's enchanted. that voice is so unlike anything he's ever heard before...he wants it. he wants it for himself. he wants to write songs for that voice. he wants to hear that voice in his ear, saying his name.
he doesn't see the man's face until after the second song when the vocalist finally stands up to his full height and rakes his hair back with a lift of his beefy arm. chiseled features, strong jaw, green eyes. magnus doesn't know if this is love or lust, maybe it's both, maybe it's jealousy, maybe he's just a sad old man wanting what he can't have.
after the show, magnus is visibly drunk and hangs around to catch the band before they leave. the vocalist sees him, and oh shit, he recognizes him. "oh shit, you're magnus hammersmith, right? from witch visions?"
"and servitor. and alchemical castration. and..." magnus blanks. too drunk. "...others, i presume."
the vocalist laughs deep and warm in his chest, and fuck... yup. magnus has it bad already.
"hey, ditch your band tonight. let's get outta here, you and me." magnus slings an arm around the guy's huge shoulders. "tell me your name again, bud?"
"oh, uh, nathan."
"nathan! nathan. lemme buy you a beer, nathan. i got a little business proposition for you."

"O" is for Opposites Attract - CHICKLES
preklok! charles gets a call from a near-hysterical toki in the middle of the night that pickles has been in an accident. clipped by a car while trying to jaywalk downtown, and now he's in the hospital having emergency surgery on a fractured leg. this is about a year after charles starts working for them, maybe just a few months after magnus' departure and toki's hiring, so everything's felt really stressful and up in the air, and NOW THIS.
charles of course gets dressed and races to the hospital to make sure pickles is being taken care of properly (no other reason, he's simply concerned for his client). pickles gets out of surgery, he's busted up real bad but he'll heal just fine the doctors say as long as he rests properly and keeps off his feet. easier said than done when it comes to pickles, and just a few days later charles swings by the apartment to see, to his horror, that pickles has drugged himself up and is trying to "walk it off" and still practice drums with the full kit. the others, it seems, are perfectly fine with pickles' attempts to do this.
in the interest of the band's future, pickles' leg needs to heal properly. he needs rest, relaxation, healthy meals. so charles does the only thing he can think of that will keep pickles safe from himself: he invites pickles to stay with him until he recovers.
of course pickles makes a terribly messy roommate and complains every step of the way, and charles is strict almost beyond reason. they end up getting into a huge argument about it, and charles finally breaks down and admits that no he's not doing this to make pickles' life miserable or teach him a lesson about wandering drunk through the streets, it's because he CARES about him damnit!
charles freezes, certain he's overstepped every boundary he's ever set for himself professionally and personally, and then pickles just sniffles, smiles, and says, "you...really care about me, charlie?" ;~;

i mean...this has to be nategaar, right?
they've been fast friends ever since skwisgaar auditioned for dethklok, when nathan and magnus and murderface all looked at each other and went "YUP" simultaneously. the two of them just vibed. maybe it was nathan's penchant for short, easily-digestible words and phrases, and skwisgaar's minimal english at the time. magnus and murderface were both wordy motherfuckers, and skwisgaar would normally tune them out. but talking to nathan, or even not talking at all, always came easy. and musically they were so aligned nathan thought magnus was jealous.
bandmates came and went. years passed. so much happened, so much changed. the near-breakup of dethklok, the events of doomstar, the takedown of salacia. the dust settled. dethklok was no more, the spell of their success broken, their god powers depleted, sacrificed in the final battle.
nathan still makes music. he has to. it's not quite as angry and dire as the stuff he used to write, but he likes it. and skwisgaar likes it, which feels like the most important thing. for some reason, when the others all went their separate ways to live their lives apart from the band, nathan and skwisgaar couldn't leave each other. at first nathan told himself it a professional thing. they were just so accustomed to making music together, so of course they'd want to keep doing that. but they eventually realize they're spending all their time together even outside of working on the music. and nathan's slowly moving into skwisgaar's house. and sleeping over a lot. and helping skwisgaar make breakfast. and if they hug a lot it's just because they're such awesome friends. and if they kiss a little, well, guys in europe kiss all the time, right? who cares.
a couple years later, when nathan's mother jokes that he should visit and "bring that husband of yours with you", the two of them look at each other and realize... oh. ohhh.

He definitely needs a lot more hype (i don’t mean Planet Piss Sal Falconbeck from the au i smack together- the theory of the Depth of Humanity fan being secretly Salacia i think has been going on since the doomstar airing? I remember when I got into the fandom seeing pretty old forum posts about it.) Just the idea of an evil half-man demon hiding as a Murderface stan is FASCINATING to me it adds a lot of angst that I love, not to mention body horror i love drawing demons and shifting through fleshy disguises type stuff
I’ll be working on the Planet Pissed segment of the fan au next with him, but if you want to see anything in particular be it from vibes or aesthetics, etc, lmk! I usually throw him against the wall but very dry. Milk would help him stick a little easier i bet. I usually listen to Britney Spears slowed down with reverb whenever I draw him idk why but it gets me in the ZONE
I have a VERY late nickles ficlet gift im still workin on (been so slow due to life being busy atm and I’ve caught Skyrim brainworms again due to the DND group im in nearly done with our 2-year long campaign), but after that definitely expect some more Salacia fan schtuff, thank you anon!

Sedna- a dwarf planet also in the Kuiper Belt
Selene- not specifically a space object, but she was the original Greek moon goddess
Sinope- moon of Jupiter

I am going to stand by my theory that Murderface won’t die in the movie but also that all five characters might be doomed by the narrative and due to the amount of supernatural energy surrounding the band is as dangerous as Salacia’s so going by that and by lyrics in Galaktikon 2 that imply they have to die or at least give that vibe.
Not gonna lie I am a sucker for doomed by the narrative especially since at the end of the day the five of them genuinely only want to be loved and to be happy but I would also like all five to live and finally get those things.
