No other series will make me feel the way I do when I’m reading the Secret Shanghai universe. From the original duology to the novellas to the spin-off series, I feel as though I have grown up with Gong’s characters and watched her flourish as a writer with each book having been better than the last. It’s hard to believe that the end has been reached, but all stories must come to a close and I’m excited to see where Gong’s pen will take us next!
