how the actual FUCK is Ronarry so underrated??? Ron and Harry have way more chemistry and a much deeper wholesome bond than Malfoy and Harry ever did, they’re literally crackhead dude bros ride or die besties, plus they’re literally two of the main characters. like,,, Ron is literally the person Harry would miss the most confirmed in the 4th book. Ron is Harry’s FAVORITE PERSON. THE PERSON HE LOVES AND WILL MISS THE MOST. HIS W H E E Z Y. And in the same book he says that Ron and Hermione are his bffs but Ron is like,, d i f f e r e n t than Hermione somehow??? Like his,, a f f e c t i o n for Hermione is different than the affection he has for Ron??? Harry was literally so miserable when he had his two fights with Ron but wasn’t at all very sad when he was fighting with Hermione, someone on the s a m e l e v e l of bestfriendness as Ron according to Harry

Scars

After the battle at the Department of Mysteries, Ron was left with horrible scars that swirled all the way up his forearms from the brains that he had so stupidly gotten entangled in.

Of course, he had not quite been in his right mind at the time, but despite that, he was only reminded of his stupidity whenever he saw his arms.

Somehow, his scars came to represent everything he hated about himself.

The rest of the world didn’t seem to see them that way, though.

Once he had been released from the hospital wing, it didn’t take long until people started telling him how scary it must have been, what a horrible curse he must have experienced to be left with scars like that, and especially, how brave he was.

It was the first time Ron had ever been treated that way.

For the first time in his life, he wasn’t just the inferior Weasley brother. He was a hero.

When everyone around him saw such honorable values in his scars, Ron’s negative feelings about them started to fade away.

They didn’t represent his bad qualities.

They represented his good qualities.

And although it made him a bit big-headed at times, the scars made him aware that he was more than Harry Potter’s sidekick.

He’s Ronald frickin Weasley.
