i dont think he's actually meant to be read as DID-coded but this dialogue sticks out to me so much. there's that weird hesitation followed by immediate aggravation. i love the idea of kirihara's idolization shaping who he is as a potential alter. he holds all the memories of the abuse but he lacks how he truly felt during it and he copes by reclaiming it so that he doesn't have to face the reality of what kind of person his brother really was. this is just a headcanon though.
