I do play technically! It's just been a long while haha-
Last time was just to do some parkour, I like doing that sometimes (I'm not good haha), but rest of the time I take walks on world download or play survival with friends
Tho I kinda gave up on a frien server too many times djjdje
And my skin currently looks like this, it's the old colour paletttod my Sona tho so I should update it ^^'

I don't know if i can really make a tutorial, but i sure can show my rough "process" when it comes to choosing colours ^^
I have a very specific colour range that i found only recently, less than a year ago even tho i've been drawing digitally for years, all because... my tablet has bad set up and everyhing is too bright and blacks are too black... this is totally unvoluntary, but honestly, best change that happenned in my art style ever !
Anyway, i have exemples with a random Cleo i experimented my rendering process on ^^'
Most of the time i won't even do lighting, so my drawings have this very dull colour range, but they become a bit brighter when i fully render them, which is quite funny i think
I don't know if i'm really clear in this, but basically, i keep my colours between orangy-yellows and cold purples, blues are extremely rare (will mostly be purple actually) and i avoid any green and cold yellow (i end up playing with saturation to make the illusion of cold colours, which i'm still learning). I also keep colours on the desaturate side, and all between a not-so-dark grey and an off white for values ^^
For painting looks, i can't render from a sketch only for shit, so i rather take the long road and have a clean design underneath to help me, which is still very enjoyable to do ! Toggling on and off the messy painting stroke layer is extremely satisfaying to play with ! (only tip i have for painting tho; do the background first, cause you may often need to trim the character's edge with what's behind them to have sharp enough edges ^^)

Hello, I saw your Clangen post and was wondering if you could maybe link the mod you used to recruit a dog? That sounds awesome! If not, that's fine. I was just curious
hi ! Actually it's not a mod to recruit dogs, but one that adds new pelts including some that are actually dog patterns (merle and dobberman, maybe more) i just though it was fun to keep the ambiguity with one of my characters haha
Anyway, it's the magi mod, i think that's the good link, but if you need help you can also jump on the clan gen discord and look for Magi's thread in coding-moding ^^

Hi! uh, i just wanted to pop in and say, um, your minecraft worldbuilding headcanons?? INCREDIBLE!!!
actually, i was wondering if it'd be alright for me to base the worldbuilding in a fanfic of my own on your headcanons? I don't even know if i'd ever post the fic online, but i wanted to know, just in case.
also! i was wondering if it might be possible for an Ender Dragon based Angel to exist? or would that have to just be a hybrid or anthro, with wings that cant be used for flying?
also also!! can different subspecies interbreed? and if so, would the offspring take after one parent, or by kinda a mix of both? actually, what with all the magic/Code involved, does subspecies even have to do with genetics at all?
heck, can players even BE born, or do they just spawn the way mobs do?

And oh oh oh, i'll be able to talk about a bunch of things i never mention there hehe
Dragon angels: I do think they can exist ! they're probably a rare variant of the species and bound to have their duties in the End and stuff. Dragon anthros/hybrid are probably way more rare or impossible honestly, as the ender dragon is a kind of deity, i can imagine the player who inherit of her features would probably be confined to the angel species ^^
For interbreeding: I needed to think about genetics a few times and to be honest, it's a bit messed up ^^'' Basically, a player's species is given randomly depending on their parents' species
I would need to make all of this properly, but some species are more dominant than others in genes: angels need both parents to be angels themselves; humanoid species are all on the same levels and kids have a 50/50 chance to have one parent's species or another; hybrids and anthro are dominants over humanoids, and cryptids over hybrids/anthro (so a couple made of a humanoids and a cryptid will more than likely have cryptids kids etc); hostile mob derived players (like enderians and creepers) can't breed with other species than their own, and some species like blobs and inorganic can't breed at all.
And finally, yes players can be born... and spawned haha; Most players have families, bloodline and genetics like us irl. But sometimes they just... spawn out of nowhere. There's a concept i need to explain when i'll talk about death and dead worlds, a metaphorical entity that creates new worlds and sometimes spawns players in random worlds. Spawned players have the body and mind of 7-10 yo kids and can grow and learn from there, that's how new bloodlines and sometimes new species are created. Blobs actually are exclusively spawned players, they're a sort of glitched spawn ^^

New Angels come to Grian for some tips and tricks when it comes to flying, and he’s there pulling his hair out because he loves getting to help new players out- but at the same he’s pulling his hair out because they don’t seem to understand that his artificial flying is not the same as natural flying 😭
He doesn’t have the heart to turn them away though, so instead he ends up reading a bunch of books on the biology of angels; resulting in him just repeating a bunch of stuff he’s read to these new players, trying to teach them how to use their wings to properly detect air currents and where the best updrafts are despite not having wings himself so how’s he meant to describe something he physically cannot experience?! Are these people purposely tormenting him?!!
Several heart attacks later, and the angels walk off thankful and satisfied, feeling more confident in their flying - whilst Grian is there looking fifty years older thanks to the stress causing him to prematurely age
Bonus; this entire time, Pearl (an actual angel) is off watching him from afar as he struggles and visbibly panics. She’ll occasionally invite Scott and other angels around to watch the torment. When they get bored they’ll sometimes going around to some city worlds and out up flyers advertising Grian as a willing and competent flight instructor for new Angels
Pearl is a menace - Grian is tired
I wanted to draw something from it but i kept forgetting about it and now it's been in my in box for too long jkhgvgfr

Mumbo’s ‘Spoon’ nickname comes from a time where someone tricked him into possessing a spoon that had curse of binding on. He was left like that for a week before Grian found him screaming in the cutlery draw - at which point he did help Mumbo out, but only after several hours of laughing, teasing, and taking a ridiculous amount of photos and videos.
To this day, Mumbo can never look at a spoon the same way again. He’s learned to laugh about it from time to time (hence all the Spoon jokes), but despite that he still refuses to use a spoon for it’s intended purpose anymore. Said it just feels wrong. Hence why he now eats his cereal with a Spork

Sorry if you've been asked this before, but what brushes do you use?
I had already indeed, but it's alright! It's an old reply here but I didn't change this then
In a nutshell; I mostly use csp's mechanical pen for sketch/line, and a brush from a free gumroad pack for colours, render and sometimes lines. Sometimes I also spam some random brush for textures, and use a pack from an instagram artist (I need to find their name back) for landscape folliage cause it's real useful

I actually really like the fact that your Grian design has no wings because aside from the fact it’s nice to see something different from the norm, it’s also really cool when you consider the fact that Grian canonically is a good flyer because it then gives him sort of pilot vibes; like that flying is something he takes really serious and has trained to be so good at (as opposed to just something he’s naturally good at).
Plus it’s funny when you consider that this wingless Gremlin is probability better than some angels who haven’t spent too long flying- like newbie flyers may come to him for any advice; like a flightless flight-instructor

But yeah, I don't know why but I got bored of winged grian pretty quickly, and always had the logic in mind that if he had wings because of elytra, then everybody else should have some as well. (Plus my tricky autistic and scientific mind bothered by the confusion between bird and bug wings haha-) I also thing it's funnier to have a character with bird behaviour but not looking like a bird directly ^^
And as funny as the image of grian teaching angels to fly, I think it's even funnier considering artificial elytra fly has nothing to with natural fly haha, he's trying his best o7

hi ! It's a type of challenge run, the most well known one is the pretty kitty challenge (i found the game through someone playing this on tiktok), but people on discord come with new ones everyday haha
Artlocke is just a little challenge that makes you draw every single cats, and update your drawings when something changes; draw your starting cats, when one grows up; draw them, when one got a scar; draw them ! etc... I also make little doodles of deaths and other events but it's not in the basis of that challenge
With that i also combined the Loner challenge, which consists in keeping only one kit from the starting cats and going from there hoping the clan grows ^^

OH!!! also, how are Worlds formed? like, can players or Admins form worlds, or are the Worlds a naturally occurring part of the universe that can be found, but never made?
New worlds are naturally generated and players aren't for anything for this. Actually this universe works a bit like ours, in the fact it constantly expends itself. Except, instead of stretching apart celestial bodies, it generates new worlds like bubbles in the place it just gained ! These new worlds are then more likely to be created with features unique to them, that previous worlds never got (ie minecraft updates)
Player switch is quite random and leaving a world for another could lead to a newly generated one or a not so young one, depends on your chance. But with some Knowledge, admins can make scripts to find seeds (that are actually coordinates) to a world that'd feature what they are looking for (like the seed vierwers app we have). There's also some players who randomly go from world to world, keeping notes of the most interesting seeds to sell them later when they eventually cross path with a city world or a smp ^^

Overall how common are Humans then? Cause it seems like Elves are the most found species?
Humans are quite common as well !
When i started this worldbuilding, what made me differ one species from one another was the type of eyes of the actual mc skin; players with eyes like the default steve and alex were humans, those with vertical "anime" eyes were elves
Of course i added more to it and have more details to take into account to asign species to players ^^' but that's basically it, human players are as common as steve-looking mc skin are still used
I can't really make things up with this, and population of each species is more or less acuratly guessed only with observation i do of the actual player base ^^''

I did make a furry looking commission once, and ultimately, I'm more comfortable doing more animal looking designs than purely humans, so yes !

Hi I'm not entirely sure if this is alright because I don't see anything about asks, but if you haven't already, can you share some tips for how you draw cats? An anatomy tutorial, any little tricks you have, etc. I really love your art style for them! :))
Hi, thank you so much !! and sorry i took a while to answer ^^'
I used to draw more animals than anything as a kid, but now i'm actually quite a beginner at drawing cats now that i spent years drawing humanoid characters ^^' and cats are actually harder to draw than they look like i must admit !!
The only actual tip i have really is to not hesitate using/relying on reference pictures. Doing a bunch of studies by copying cat pictures helps a lot to understand the basic shapes, and having a couple references for each pose is always useful!
I used references for my last warrior designs, but not when i draw some original cats and my friends' and i's sonas, and i think it's really showing! without, i tend to stick to one kind of pose withvery simplified bodies, but with help the shapes are more definied and more diverse ^^
