August 23, 2018-The Hammond Police Dept. is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Little Caesars Pizza in the 6200 block of Hogmanay Ave. on August 20th at approximately 10:10 P.M.

The suspect entered Little Caesars and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun  and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall, two hundred pounds, approximately 35-years-old, wearing black pants, black shoes, a white tee shirt with a front center design on it, and the red/black striped coat shown here. The suspect also wore a trimmed goatee and had a tattoo on his left forearm.

Approximately 50 dollars cash was taken. The suspect fled on foot northbound. There is no vehicle information at this time. Anyone who knows the identity of this individual is asked to contact Det. Sgt. M. Ferry at (219)852-2991 or [email protected].
