Well, first of all, plenty of people like beeduo fans. I like beeduo fans. And maybe someone can give me a more comprehensive set of reasons. But from what I can tell it seems like some people just think beeduo fans are annoying. Like someone will post a bad take and people will be like "ofc it's the beeduo fans again 🙄" a la Dream stan attitudes. A lot of Ranboo fans (who are usually beeduo fans) on Twitter are... difficult, to put it mildly, (in a variety of ways) and I think some inniters get frustrated about how much people like c!Ranboo over c!Tommy, occasionally in regard to c!Tubbo (NOT ALL OF THEM - some). That combined with the way stuff catches on leads to a sort of preconceived notion as to what a beeduo main looks like and does.

And I guess people are entitled to their opinions - like I still am kinda wary of Techno blogs at large bc of bad experience - but I hope their opinion doesn't dissuade you or make you feel bad. Beeduo are very cool and being a big fan of theirs is nothing to be ashamed of -- I know firsthand what it's like to be lumped in with your arbitrary community's worst offenders.

I see people say they don't like sneeg or that the ranboo and wilbur duo is boring. Honestly, I'm not a fan of taller duo, I don't know sneeg but George probably choose this team and doesn't see anything wrong with it, like, he's not a baby, he can make his own decisions and he's doesn't hates wilbur, they're friends 🙄

Anon maybe this is because I'm simply out of the loop but I was not expecting the backlash this team got gn.

I don't know who Sneeg is either but I think we missed something because everyone knows and majority dislikes (at least from what I saw) this guy. I remember him making a tweet of something along the lines of "too many YouTubers these days making shit autotuned music for a cash grab" and immediately the comments were filled defending dreams music. After a couple of hours Sneeg replied saying "This tweet was about Jake Paul but it's interesting how many people assumed this was about Dream" (cartoon anvil dropping noise). I do hear there's a lot more to the dislike than a throwaway joke but I can't find the info.

I honestly don't watch tall duo so I haven't seen for myself how potentially boring the dynamic is although I don't find it hard to believe. I have heard through whispers down the grapevine that apparently they take MCC quite competitively but I don't think anyone's playing to lose, just some have more fun along the way than others allow themselves to. I guess we'll see where Wilbur and Ranboo fall on that on that spectrum but tbf nothing can live up to the all stars red rabbits mindset so bearing that in mind I think we'll count ourselves lucky.

I definitely agree, chances are George saw this team prior to release (like usual) and if he wasn't happy he'd simply not take part. I saw a couple of people saying how he's going to be "ignored" on the team?? 😭 Please George knows how to interact with people it's how he became friends with those they want him surrounded with 24/7 in the first place. George meshes well with various groups yet I also saw users crying out that he wasn't "paired with his friends". As much as people seemingly don't want them to be, (as you said) Wilbur and George look to be good friends. There's been times where Wilbur has gone to London simply to hang out with George, no content involved, which I think says a lot. I haven't seen either of them talk poorly about the other in any light since they became closer and I believe Wilbur even mentioned how he was looking forward to this team on stream yesterday.

Even if George hadn't previously interacted with half the team in his life surely that's the whole appeal of MCC in the first place? To not be paired up with those you commonly content with, to be introduced to new dynamics and potential friendships. This aspect is genuinely why I enjoy MCC so much (and why I enjoyed Ludwigs fortnite tournament with Gnf moved to Connors team). The reaction is very over the top for what its about (not that I can say much about being over the top), it's for three hours on a random Saturday and controversially I think it's going to be entertaining.
