I had a hard time with this in the past. I am a very anxious bean and had some shit happen that caused me to like distance myself and in a way punish myself. I would talk myself out of joining servers and talking to people for X, Y, Z reasons and then I just felt more shitty because after a while it was just like too little too late. So, now I just kind of man the fuck up and try not to over think it. I have joined a wonderful server with some amazing people which help me to like get a feel for things and what everyone is looking for and then I use that as a way to like strike up the first initial conversation and then once that initial conversation is started, I'll be okay to reach out on my own. That or I make vague posts about what I want and hope people like it giving me a reason to jump into their IMs. XD

Seven Years can go by very fast when you think about it. Imagine not seeing that darling after so long ? A lady does worry you know ? Every meeting, the both of them sitting side by side, clearly you can tell the favoritism the both held for one another, any of the Overlords could see that if they actually cared to. Knowing that her darling Alastor was back had set her mood even higher when seeing he had come back after a rather long seven years.

Now here they were together, in her shop away from eyes that could linger on to them both. Setting down a cup of coffee for her lovely deer, and some tea for herself. ❝ As seriousness it could get, Alastor. With you gone it was like a big PARTY for Vox, you know? Seven years you been gone and they believe the whole PRIDE RING is in there hand. Silly isn't it? ❞

The Cannibal sits down, sipping her tea as she gives a soft smile, reaching over to cup his face as she moves it side to side before letting go. ❝ Notice? Darling who WOULDN'T notice that the RADIO DEMON was not around! Seven years you been gone, the town really missed you my sweet. Next time when you decided to have a long walk, make sure you write to me. ❞

Thinking on the little show tunes that they had at the meeting. One couldn't help, but think it was rather interesting to say the least. The idea of a demon killing an angel? A sinner killing the ANGELS? It made her think on these things, but Alastor knowing her so well with her smiles. How cute. ❝ I learned from the best didn't I? I think it was...interesting. Who could have know that demons, or even sinners could kill what has been destroying us for many years! Murder! Who would have thought that murder could come from us to heaven - but it doesn't suprise me. ❞

She places her tea-cup down as she looks at Alastor. A smile on her face as she hums, picking up a plate of lady fingers from the table. ❝ I heard a little rumor. Just a tiny rumor my dear, Alastor. A teeny tiny rumor that someone MIGHT have said before. Though I can no t confirm it nor deny it - what hurts keeping a hold on it, no? ❞ She leans in just a little bit, like the gossiping that they do. ❝ I heard that they leave their weapons all over, whose to say you can't kill with that? I think it's funny - angels who have left their weapons here for years and years? Really makes me think that those angels don't have much brain up stairs. ❞

It was something asked for.

Something desired even under the guise of sheer manipulation riddled with the terms of service. One would know exactly what they were getting into if they read such fine print, and the stag himself should have known that being who he was.

Give or take, perhaps the song is adorned with lines among the lyrics. But he fell for such regardless of his greed for power.

Now, it wasn't all so cruel. He could ask her for things if he wanted to. On occasion, she'd allow him to do such, maybe even accept such lingering needs. It usually came at a price on whether or not she was in the mood to do so, though.

And here she was, in his tower of frequency as she leaned against where his chair had been. Her arms pressed against his shoulders as she had claws dawned on that cute face of his. The hunter, with a taste for carmine, held his cheeks as she forced the smile more while the mirrored gaze of the window threw back at him.

"Isn't this what you desired? I gave you what you wanted, and I know you aren't a fool....Perhaps this is something you actually enjoy more than you care to mutter out in confession."

A stir of intentions as a matched expression took over features glaring back at him in the reflection as clawed nails dug into the flesh, releasing just a few drops.

𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓, but his annoyance is burning in his eyes. putting up with alastor proved to be something of a CHALLENGE to him, though he reminds himself to do it for charlie. his stay at the hotel was not nearly as pleasant as he would have liked it to be, while most of them were nice & tolerable for him to be around, as much as he enjoyed getting to spend time with his daughter - one of them was making it not as easy. though he tried hard to keep a calm head, not wanting to hurt his daughter's feelings & image fighting with her hotel director - when she wasn't around, it was a whole other story. without charlie present, lucifer thought it fair game to start some kind of argument with him - clearly, it was what he wanted. seeing him get heated, it only brought on more taunting from the other. a comment on just how intimidating he was at the moment, alastor was SEIZED by his bowtie with the clear intention of forcing him to come down to lucifer's level, little care for the short joke he was likely going to be met with face - to - face. ❛ sure, but what makes YOU so scary? ❜

A moment of silence.

Finally. It's almost NEVER fuckin' quiet in the hotel anymore ; between Angel Dust's noisy-ass and Charlie's overall enthusiasm , Husk was exhausted. A clawed hand rubs against his face and a groan leaves the bartender. He needed a break. Maybe a drink , actually. . .

His plumed tail sways smoothly behind himself , wrapping around a nearby bottle while skilled claws take a few others and a mixer. ‘ Graveyard ’ was a new drink he'd been introduced to through a friend after she'd come to get some downtime , and he had been pleasantly thrilled to find it was the only thing to actually get him properly drunk anymore. Apparently it was extremely volatile on mortals — which was fair ; the mix itself sounded like it would kill.

What Husk fails to recall , however , is that a ‘ moment of silence ’ was just that. A fleeting moment. While he's mildly distracted with his mixing , he doesn't quite notice the @r-adio demon returning from one of those ' outings ' of his.

IT WAS AN UNCOMFORTABLE AREA FOR HIM, not his robotic limbs themselves, but the areas connecting them to his real body. being touched there was not all too pleasant for him, not something that he particularly liked, but something he had grown all too used to during his life of performing. now, after ditching mammon, having to deal with far less of his boundaries being breached. feeling something brush against his arm, just where his parts connected, he jolted quite violently. quick to turn, he looked disturbed - somewhat more so to see that it had been ALASTOR to touch him. it was unlike him, knowing that he was not exactly a person who liked being touched himself. alastor was not too fond of modern technology, that much was all too well known to everyone who knew him, even if it was not something fizzarolli could understand. it was what held him together - the reason he was still able to live happily as he was now. ❛ that's a little WEIRD, don't you think? ❜ weird, even for alastor. rubbing the area he had been touched, he seemed HESITANT to turn his back to him again.

a trail of red smoke in the shape of claws takes hold of one of the radio demon's hands && spins @r-adio around , directly into valentino's grasp. but the moth chuckles pleasantly , giving the slightest of a bow of his head in greeting. ❛ alastor ... wonderful to see you again , amigo. ❜

news of the extermination's halt spread like wildfire , before it'd even hit the picture boxes --- he was on the move. a swath of shadows searching , cloaking the ruins & ensuring he stayed out of sight of those wandering eyes. nothing more than a mere blip at the corner of vision , there & gone again. you're simply seeing things !

a familiar presence was missing amongst the gathered crowd. a sharp pang in the overlord's chest that spread , curling round his throat with an icy hand the longer he searched. he hadn't been fearful in decades , every outcome was one he expected but losing alastor simply wasn't an option. he had so very few he could depend on living as long as he , so many came & went but over the last century , there had been him.

it's in the remains of his radio tower that he finds him , the stench of blood usually familiar & comforting is nauseating. beginning panic quelled & relief so palpable zestial's shoulders fall with the release of weight. alastor's alive , still drawing breath & that is enough. he moves to his side silently & extends a hand. ( here is my hand that will not harm you. )

" pray thee allow me , " suspiciously similar to a plea in nature , a clench of his jaw. " i shall procure thine escape from this place , @r-adio. " to the safety of his own domain , hidden , to heal without weakness seen as an opportunity.
