Happy Chocolate Day~🍫

Of course every time Valentine’s rolls around, I am drawn to wearing an AP chocolate print (especially my favourite, Melty Ribbon. An old dream dress, it always makes me happy)!

This coordinate is pretty similar to my Melty Ribbon Chocolate coords of the past. It’s hard to not to reach for the full set again...everything goes so well together (of course it does, but...)

♡ My 2023 retrospective: egl version ♡ PART 4/9

June

My birth month started with a friend visiting. She wanted to start wearing lolita, and she brought her first pair of shoes (the white tea parties).

Lolita shoes say trans rights!

I dragged her to one of our meets for ILD too. It was really fun!

Everything I was wearing was Angelic Pretty, except for the socks and shoes.

Then it was already time for my birthday! I wore a super casual coord (as it was already really hot) with my Putumayo cutsew and met a lovely girl at a french café.

We ate the birthday éclair and pain au chocolat and talked about Misako Aoki and our lives.

July

As summer is incredibly hot here, it's almost impossible to wear lolita, so I only tried doing that a couple of times.

The first time was for our usual meet. This is what I wore to it. The OP is the same Innocent World one that I was wearing in other photos.

Later that month I acquired a copy of the newest Misako Aoki's book with my friend who was also interested in it.

After that, the only other time when I dared wear a lolita coord in July was when the Barbie movie came out, because we went to the night show, I didn't wear a blouse and we thought that there was a possibility the AC would be on in the movie theater (it wasn't, but I was fine anyway).

August

August is as hot as July, so I only managed to try wearing lolita once, and only because I really missed it. As you can see, it's a really simple and casual coord with my Karenina JSK (which is actually more of a salopette) by Innocent World. You can't really wear anything more elaborate in the summer here, or you'll die. For sure.
