Being mostly anti-firearm but having a mental list of firearms I wish I had a chance to operate
#i kinda find weapons fascinating in both an engineering sense and anthropological sense. like the engineering behind some is so cool#like the an-94 being able to fire two shots before you feel the recoil from the first? thats crazy i mean neurodivergent#and anthropology wise it is fascinating how much time energy and resources are spent trying to find more efficient ways to kill but at the#same time most people are against killing. prioritising research most are opposed to in order to protect from possible enemies also#prioritising research most people are against. fascinating. is it fear and caution that cause this? when did the arms race truly begin?
