The child seems to perk up immediately as Jin returns, in his hand the oddly specific snack she had requested. A snack pack of chocolate pudding, apparently a favorite of hers. Needless to say, her eyes were ablaze with sparkles as he popped the top open and handed her the treat and a spoon to go with it.

Within the next five minutes, there was chocolate spread across the front of her shirt and speckled on her face . . But the look on her face was one of absolute contentment.

”. . . Thanks, dad.” Spoken with the spoon still pressed to her lips.

“Don’t listen to them, Jin. Why don’t we sit down, and have a relaxing cup of tea....”

Oho, that would be an interesting idea! Cindy has a hard time being around other people for long periods of time since she comes off as uninterested or cold a lot of the time and they become upset with her. But I think since Jin doesn’t really like people who talk too much, I think they’ll get along well.
