i hate when i see a generally helpful post that contains mildly incorrect statements
'cause it's really hard not to be like "no that's not true" when stating it as true is a useful generalization
#this is about 'don't plug a space heater into a power strip'#good advice in general!#but#power strips that are built to handle high enough current draw for a space heater exist#so it's not TECHNICALLY true to say that power strips can't handle the power draw of a space heater#because some can#but there is utility in making generalizations!#but but but the statement as stated is false ðŸ˜#eilooxology
