Got myself a @portablepainter palette and set it up with a few colors that I think would work. That undersea green maybe need to be replaced with a dark earth color like burnt umber, but then I like the convenience of having that green so we will see? Choosing 12 colors were more difficult than I thought.... Most colors are from Daniel Smith, except two from M. I needed it to be small so I could take it everywhere even when I didn’t intend to paint... so I would be more likely to do it. The last week has been filled with homework and exam assignment so I haven't had much time to draw... Instead I though I would give you a little picture from when I was in Scotland back in September last year :D    We were at Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh and here you see me paint the beautiful view :D It was gorgeous though I never got to finish my sketch ;) It was really fun painting from nature though <3

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This is in honor of my grandpa, who is going to be spending the day in the hospital. Not long ago he was telling me about a Polish tradition his family had growing up where the kids would look for the first star on Christmas eve, as the first one to see it would have good luck for the rest of the year. Of course he and his brother would tell the rest of the kids to look in the wrong direction so they would have better chances.
