The Moon's Light🌙
When my finger tips touched the sun,
I erupted in a gazillion burning red flames.
It majestically inflicted harm
To the greed that dissipated to soot and ash.
I stood there, gazing at the scorching fireball.
It glowered back, ready to combust and
cauterize,
The desire.
I inhaled in fumes and smoke.
I huffed and puffed.
Yet,
Like sand, it falls through my fingers,
Slipping away with time.
When my flames flickered out,
My shine was gone.
I would never enrapture,
As a moon without it's luminescence,
Has no presence.
