Dollface is all set!
Made for Leviackerdayum on Instagram!
Dollface is made with minky and custom dyed minky-- the accessories are made with minky, mochi minky and beads, with the teardrop shaped on being painted and glossed. They lay at about 10 inches from the tip of the nose to the back tips of the back legs. The details on the body are machine embroidered, the tail, mane and flower details were applied using the satin stitch option on my sewing machine. None of the accessories are removable.
Fun facts!
Another plush that was dyed last second. The base body was originally going to be Navy, but I wanted to slightly more greyish tone. It helped! But in the back of my mind, I think the Navy could have been passible. :) The front hoof color was picked out from my dyed fabric boxes!
The mane tail and flower were detailed with my regular sewing machine, like I said above. It was RIGHT WHEN my internet went out and couldn't think of a way to scan and transfer files between devices. :( I did find a way way after this little one was completed, but the details still needed to be made. I had some issues with skipped stitches again, but I was able to make it look okay in my opinion.
The flower on the choker was made using the fabric folding rose method. I haven't done this in a year or two!
