It’s been a little over a year since the passing of Wade Edwards. I only got to shoot with you once and met you one other time but you were a really friendly guy. I was told how much it meant to you that you got to shoot with me. I was really upset that day we shot because of some stuff that was said to me by someone else earlier that day. It’s been a little over 2 years since Ron Barlow passed onto another side of eternity. I’m reposting some photos he has helped me create over the years to keep the memory of his beautiful work alive. R.I.P. Jerry Steele. These are not Jerry’s photos as I don’t think I have any that he took, but these were all taken in his pool and in his home studio. I didn’t know him super well but I’ve shot at his house/pool a few times and he was always goofy and fun. I still remember one of my first interactions with him. Someone told Jerry I kept canceling on this guy but I showed him it was the other guy canceling on me. Jerry made sure I got a deposit and that the guy finally showed up to the shoot. He didn’t have to get involved and help but he did. I’ve run into Jerry at other events and when shooting at his house. He was always so much fun to talk to. I wish I got more time to shoot with him. 😢 I know a lot of you were closer to him and I’m so sorry for your loss. What is everyone doing today? Today marks 5 years since I met Brad Prime. He said changed my life and my career in so many ways. He trained me in all different types of posing including editorial. He helped me turn modeling into a career I could actually make a living from. He helped me see myself differently, as a real model, not as the insecure girl I was before he met me. I have so much more confidence than I did a few years ago. I don’t know where I would be without his training and all of his help. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher and mentor, not only in my career but also in my life. I’m so blessed and thankful!
