So this was when I was talking about if I was to muse drift and this is his backstory

Ok so Drift lived in a small neighborhood, he was a bit of a punk as his parents would describe and got into art very young

His parents were very supportive, getting him everything he needed for art and accepting him when he came out to them

His friends were mainly the people in his neighborhood, his best friend had a older sibling who introduced Drift to art after he showed Drift the new tattoo that they designed

Drift got into spray painting into his teens

Starting to really get into his punk phase

He got his first piercing with his dad, as he had many piercings, and got the tattoo with his mom

Then, he started getting into fightsThey were nothing serious at first, then he was messing with this one person who really taught him a lesson

The person ripped out his piercing, leaving him a nasty scar that he covers up

His parents grew more concerned about him, he was turning into a different person and not the son they knew

When they tried to talk to him about it Drift got pissed, to the point he left his home and moved in with his close friend

While living with his friend, he started to spend money like crazy, on art supplies and now on rings that his friend got him into

When he was old enough he was forced to move out and live along in his own houseManaging to get a small apartment and a job but still continued his behavior

His parents tried to contact him and get him to move back with them but he refused

He continued to be like this until he turned 24, and heard about the mysterious burger in the desert

And well he went to leave his mark on it and boom he got rifted to fortnite

Seeing everything was so different and not knowing of there was a way to leave

When he met the squad he was nervous and uneasy if he should trust them but they managed to talk to him and showed him they mean no harm and so he joined them for a bit

Staying his first night there he couldn’t sleep, he tossed and turned. He couldn’t leave, he couldn’t return home. This was his new forever home and he had to get use it

At some point he manages to fall asleep and thinks about everything he’s done on Earth

He wakes up while it’s still night and realizes he can change and start over his life as a better person

And so he makes that his plan and sticks with it

Joining the squad for fun adventures and meeting new people, one of these people being carbide. His future boyfriend

Drift and carbide met when Drift was by himself and just taking a walk, they each heard about eachother from their friends and started to talk even exchanging numbers when carbide had to head home

They would talk when carbide was free and it became very obvious the two liked eachother. But both were shy gay babies who couldn’t confess, until Drift got his second scar

The second scar happened when he was with his squad, they ran into problematic people, Drift was the first to throw the punch.. Well pick

A fight quickly broke out and it looked like his squad was winning until someone grabbed their pick and dug into his back with it

A deep cut that had Drift instantly fall to the ground in pain

While the gang ran off his friends quickly brought him to a hospital, unsure if he would make it. The cut was extremely deep and had other open wounds

While he was getting taken care of, cuddle called Carbide and his friends. Telling them what had happened and that Drift was seriously hurt and they were unsure if he would live

Carbide quickly rushed to the hospital, staying with the squad while they were being taken care of and telling them and himself Drift was fine. Well lord and behold he lives

Drift was half conscious when he was pushed into the room. Carbide took to his side, placing his hand on Drift’s bandage cheek rubbing it softly. “Everyone was so worried about you..” his voice was shaky as he was still recovering from the shock. “I know, I could hear the doctors talking about it..” Drift’s face was flushed from the wound but there was a obvious blush on his face as he locked eyes with Carbide. “We were so worried about you- I was so worried about you Drift, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if you didn’t make it.. I love you Drift”

Drift was surprised hearing Carbide’s words. He soften and placed his hand over Carbide’s hand with his fingers brushing over his rough knuckles. “I love you too Carbi.. I wasn’t expecting this to happen in a hospital room though”

The gays confess their love and become official when Drift fully recovers. Over the years Drift moves in with Carbide in his own house. And then the volcano event happens, him, carbide and everyone else he knew escaped to the snowy area of the map taking a risk to freeze themselves over the years. They are soon found among others who did the same and are thawed out and introduced to the new neo and mega mall and are told about everything that happened

They are given a bunch of cash to get homes and stuff like that, him and carbide get a new apartment. Drift gets a job as a artist and Carbide gets a job as a guard, for Drift’s 24th birthday Carbide surprises him with a pet fox

And thats what I have so far with the “if I ever muse drift” thing

I haven’t figured everything out with his kitsune mask and powers yet

I was thinking he finds it while venturing around and the mask flicks electric sparks and next thing you know there’s a bright light and Drift is wearing the mask

He freaks out about it and runs to his squad, yadda yadda and learns how to unlock this power and what not
