*ੈ✩‧₊˚Activity description
╰┈➤On October 21st, our geography teacher took us on trip to explore cities Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci. We left Banja Luka at 5:30 am and our trip to Sremski Karlovci lasted for whole 7 hours. Even though it was kind of exhausting, it was worth it because i got a chance to learn a lot about history as well as geography aspects of that place. We visited first ever gymnasium in Serbia, the oldest theological high school, which is created back in 1794, as well as biggest high-school library in whole Serbia, which is in that school. Our tourist guide took us through Church of Sremski Karlovci where we saw beautiful art works and decor on walls.

╰┈➤After that, we went to Novi Sad, specifically Petrovaradin Fortress. We looked around, took some pictures and learned about its history. A fun fact about this fortress is that every year this fortress is a place where Exit Festival is held. I met some tourists that were talking about festival so my friends and I made a promise to visit it next year in July!

╰┈➤We were given around 3,5 hours of free time which I spent on hanging around with my friends, coffee break, lunch and a bit of shopping! I got some souvenirs, enjoyed a nice warm day and for everyone's surprise, met famous youtubers!

This trip represents significant, and after all fun experience to me. I learned a lot about city that was to me known only for its famous festival. It showed my how entertaining field teaching can be and how much of historical importance places that are this close to us posses. Really fun way to spend your Saturday, to get closer with your classmates while learning at the same time!

Activity description✔️
Our geography teacher took us to explore the cities of Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci and we learned a lot of interesting historical and geographical facts about the landmarks we visited. It took us 7 hours to get there (including gas station breaks) and just as much to come back, so it was truly an exhausting road trip. The time we actually spent in the cities was great, educating, and really fun. I loved that I had a chance to explore new places with some of my really good friends, and we had about 3 hours of free time to do anything we wanted downtown Novi Sad, and we really used up that time to have fun and eat really delicious food. We visited the grammar school of Sremski Karlovci, which is the oldest grammar high school in Serbia, as well as their theological high school and church. We visited The Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, which was really interesting because that is where the Exit Festival is held every year. We really walked a lot during the tours, and our free time, which is why I think this also qualifies as an activity.

Reflection✔️
It was a really insightful experience that brought a lot of joy into a pretty random weekend, and I feel like I learned quite a lot about the cities I have not visited before. It took a bit of a toll on my sleeping patterns just because the bus ride was way too long, but all in all, I had a lot of laughs with my friends, saw some beautiful buildings and a fortress and it made for a great Saturday.

Lost in Novi Sad
Lost in **Novi Sad**, I wander the streets of the city, looking for myself. The sun caresses my face as I observe the passers-by, their faces and all the moments. Inspiration is hidden in every step, in every smile, in every look. **my heart is pounding** while passing by the Petrovaradin fortress, the famous symbol of this city. The fortress is the host of the world famous **EXIT festival**, it is the place where music and emotions merge into a unique harmony. In this colorful Novi Sad, where history and tradition intertwine with the hospitality of the Balkans, I feel that I am part of something bigger. Maybe it's the mysterious soul of the city that attracts me, or maybe just the smell of fresh air from the banks of the Danube. In any case, Novi Sad is an experience that I didn't even know I was missing. While wandering, I try to capture moments, to feel the pulse of this city and to find inspiration. Perhaps it is in the smile of a child running towards the playground, or in the melody of a guitar coming from a cafe. And while the sun is slowly setting, I feel that I am on the right path, that I find myself in every step, in every face that passes me by. Novi Sad is a city of colors and magic, thank you for embracing me in your streets and giving me strength and inspiration to write these words to show emotion. I may be lost, but in you I found that little happy part of me. 🌆🌞🎶 Yours. t. t.

Reflection:
It was a very nice experience and I had a great time with my friends. I hadn’t knew that Sremski Karlovci were that beautiful and full of historically important buildings before i went on this trip, and that was really surprising for me. I think that this type of activities are important for students because we can learn something new and remember it for a longer time.
