America and the Sea of Serenity Image Credit & Copyright: Gene Cernan, Apollo 17, NASA; Anaglyph by Patrick Vantuyne
Explanation: Get out your red/blue glasses and check out this stereo view of another world. The scene was recorded by Apollo 17 mission commander Eugene Cernan on December 11, 1972, one orbit before descending to land on the Moon. The stereo anaglyph was assembled from two photographs (AS17-147-22465, AS17-147-22466) captured from his vantage point on board the Lunar Module Challenger as he and Dr. Harrison Schmitt flew over Apollo 17's landing site in the Taurus-Littrow Valley. The broad, sunlit face of the mountain dubbed South Massif rises near the center of the frame, above the dark floor of Taurus-Littrow to its left. Piloted by Ron Evans, the Command Module America is visible in orbit in the foreground against the South Massif's peak. Beyond the mountains, toward the lunar limb, lies the Moon's Mare Serenitatis. Four astronauts will venture around the Moon and back again on the Artemis II mission, scheduled for launch no earlier than September 2025.

which baby giant that ISNT blake sabol are you enjoying most this season!!!!
I had to go look at a list on baby giants bc in my head Luis Matos has been on the team for years but no. he's a baby. I do love Luis Matos tho, I think he's been great for the team! Incredibly cringe of Farhan to send him down tbh! I don't ever find myself asking him "kid what r u doing" more than any other Giant, baby or old man, which I think speaks to his success on the team!
OBVIOUSLY been enjoying Patrick Bailey surprise savior of the franchise girl where did you come from and where have you been!!!! But he's here now and he is perfect. Actually deeply funny to watch him settle into the role and to suddenly feel hope again. SFG fans hold their catchers to a frankly unachievable standard and imho we set Joey Bart up to fail a little bit. (I mean he definitely sucks. But it didn't help that an entire fanbase was asking him to be Buster Posey his entire rookie year.) I think at least part of the reason Patrick Bailey hasn't struggled quite as much as Bart is bc no one really expected him to do shit and I think that's allowed him to settle in really well. I think we'll be able to start measuring his impact in a big way in a couple of years, esp if someone fires Kapler!! Also it's sooooo funny to me how he's such a goober in all his official team headshots on the scoreboard and then the cameras cut to him and he's like 😐
Also love Casey Schmitt for fanfiction purposes. I wish the rookies had vibes like Baby A's do?? Or maybe I just don't pay close enough attention, idk the thing abt me and baseball narratives is I'm only keyed into what happens on my dashboard so if there's a developing romance being documented on Twitter I simply have no idea. Followers are encourage to give me their baby Giants theses!!!
Actually it kills me bc I was reading a Kawakami article where he was like Giants have a lot of rookies but they don't really flock together bc coaching staff has done one thing right in their miserable lives and made the rookies sit with Joc and Yaz in the clubhouse. And forced them to integrate with the team instead of coalescing into one rookie clique?? Which is great for team morale but bad for my fanfiction bc I am not activated by Joc Pederson like, at all.
But Blake Sabol did give the greatest quote about this year in that article:

I know you said not to talk about him but I love him!!!! I love him so much!!!!

Patrick Burgan & Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt

Larsen veut savoir pourquoi Znorko l’a publiée.

« The shift reflects many conservative billionaires’ fears of President Biden’s tax agenda, which if approved would drastically reduce their fortunes. » (3)
Alors, on partage !
» (Argument, Acte 2)

We wanted to share Richard Brown’s story with the 1958 Thor, reposted below along with his photos. Showing a car at The Amelia Concours D’Elegance was amazing. Translated to “competition of elegance”. It’s considered the Pebble Beach show off the east coast. I’ve been going to the Amelia show for 23 years, but this is the first time I had a car invited to attend. This isn’t a typical car show where you bring a car if you want to. It’s quite different. If your vehicle qualifies and meets the standards and criteria they are looking for… the board of directors will choose your car, and officially invite your car to attend the event. In the automotive collector world it’s an incredible honor. This event is more of an art exhibit than any thing else. It’s about sculpture, history, design, and provenance. If this sounds high brow and “Hoity toity”, well that’s because it is. And on a rare occasion, riff raff like myself slips through the cracks and gets in anyways!! I started the project in July and stayed on it till the day before the show. Everything came apart to get restored. The only thing not touched was the shift knob. I wanted to leave it with all the fingerprints from the past owners, all the way to its original creator Nik Gudmunds. Thanks goes Matthew Burke and Karl Gudmunds for historical reference, to Augie Maurer for chassis fabrication and exhaust recreation, Nathan Lizana for the period correct 36hp motor, Ronnie Schmitt for seats and headliner upholstery, Patrick Frye for wiring harness and engine tuning, Marvin Rabalais for initial body stripping and prep, and especially Scott Taylor for the final bodywork and paint, and sticking with me…staying up till midnight helping me put it all back together. A special thanks goes to my friend Geoffrey Hacker of Undiscovered Classics for pushing me to restore the Thor, and being the conduit to connect me to the Amelia Concours show. Couldn’t have got there without him. (at The Amelia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpvEtvas7ny/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

America and the Sea of Serenity Gene Cernan, Apollo 17, NASA; Anaglyph by Patrick Vantuyne
Explanation: Get out your red/blue glasses and check out this stereo view of another world. Fifty years ago the scene was recorded by Apollo 17 mission commander Eugene Cernan on December 11, 1972, one orbit before descending to land on the Moon.

Januar 1966 in FC Carl Zeiss Jena. Klaus Schlappner, Hans Meyer, Eberhard Vogel, Heiko Weber mit Co Marco Kämpfe, Frank Neubarth, Valdas Ivanauskas, Henning Bürger, René van Eck, Carsten Linke, Jürgen Raab, Petrik Sander, Andreas Zimmermann, Patrick van Kets, Volkan Uluc,Rico schmitt, René Klingbeil und Kenny Verhoene,

Joseph Fitzgerald Robotnik, also known as Joe Robotnik, or JFR, is the (fictional) junior United States Senator from Florida, the second of nine children of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, and a friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. He is the leader of the "Herobotniks", the Hero faction of the Robotnik family, which is a group dedicated to defending freedom and democracy in the world. He currently serves as Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. A member of the Republican Party, he served as U.S. Representative representing a district for which the town of Green Hill, Florida, is a part of. Joe is currently 35 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to a wealthy Polish-American Catholic family, as the second-born child and son of Dr. Eggman and Rose Robotnik (nee Fitzpatrick), Joe is a child prodigy, like the rest of his siblings. His siblings are Ivo Jr., Rosemary, Kathleen, Eunice, Patricia, Robert, Jean, and Theodore, and their grandfather, Patrick Robotnik, was a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. At the age of 9, he suffered a lab accident that was caused by his father, Eggman, and his older brother, Ivo Robotnik Jr., and the accident gave him the power of super speed, which he used for good, fighting against villains he encounters. He met Josephine "Josie" Graffeo, the oldest daughter of Dr. John Graffeo, an Italian-American businessman and scientist from New York City. Joe and Josie fell in love, and they started dating. He attended Harvard University at the age of 10, with Ivo Jr., graduating with a bachelor's degree at the age of 14. At the age of 15, after receiving his Master's degree in Public Administration, Joe attended Harvard law school, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree at the age of 18, joining the U.S. Navy afterwards, and becoming a Navy SEAL like Ivo Jr. Joe deployed on his first mission to Pakistan. He later became commissioned as an officer and was promoted to Ensign at 19, and would later be promoted to Lieutenant at 21, Lieutenant Commander at 23, and Commander at 25. At the age of 20, Joe married Josie Graffeo, and they purchased a new house in Green Hill, Florida. They would go on to produce 8 children: Arabella, Caroline, Joseph Jr., Anthony, Patrick, Angela, Charles, and John Paul. As a Navy SEAL, he would sometimes fight alongside his brother, Ivo Jr. He served in Pakistan, Somalia, and Nigeria. He was wounded by an IED attack in Somalia, and earned a Purple Heart. He later earned a Navy Cross and a Congressional Medal of Honor. When he was 23, and serving in Nigeria, Ivo Jr., who was serving with him, suffered an IED explosion, which severed his arms and legs. Joe rescued his brother, though the attack costed Ivo Jr. his limbs. Joe later became a Judge Advocate General, or JAG, at the age of 25.
At 29, he left the JAG Corps of the Navy and transferred to the Reserves., and started his election campaign as a Republican, for a seat in the House of Representatives, representing a district in Green Hill. He defeated his Democratic opponent, Leslie Bowden, in the race, with 70% of the vote. During his time as U.S. Congressman, Joe saw his father kidnap animals for roboticization, and he saw a factory that Eggman built in the area. He also saw Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time when he observed him fight against Eggman. After these events, Joe began to rebel against his parents, and he introduced a bill that designated acres of land in Green Hill, as federal conservation area, which passed with bipartisan support from Republicans and Democrats, including his brother, Ivo Jr., who only sponsored, and voted in favor of it to keep his career intact. Joe also started the "Herobotniks" with his sisters, Rosemary Vasquez and Kathy Dalton and their uncle, Gerald Robotnik III (Eggman's cousin). Joe's other sisters, Eunice Schmitt and Jean Donovan, and Joe's brothers, Bobby, and Ted would later join him in the Herobotniks. Joe and his immediate family later met Sonic, and the latter's sidekick, Tails, in person when they were purchasing chili dogs from a chili dog stand, and they became friends, with Joe and the Herobotniks helping Sonic and his friends on their quests.
At 34, Joe launched his campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida. When Sonic was falsely accused of stealing a Chaos Emerald, Joe and Bobby set out to clear his name, with Joe risking his career and election campaign in the process, and that led them to the Space Colony ARK. After the events of Sonic Adventure 2, Joe made governmental reforms as part of his campaign platform, and included the promise to reform GUN as part of his campaign promises. His Democratic opponent was William H. Lodge, a member of the Eggman Empire, which Joe himself is opposed to. Eggman used Lodge to attempt to fold Joe into the Eggman Empire. Sonic and his friends gave their support to Joe, encouraging Floridian voters to vote for him. Joe won the Senate election with 85 percent of the vote, and was sworn in as U.S. Senator, while Bobby was elected as a Congressman to take Joe's place.
While Joe is as ambitious and intelligent as his father, unlike Eggman, Joe does not want to be evil like his father, and he opposes the idea of a dictatorship. A devout Catholic, Joe is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and conducts charity work for the fraternal organization.
Joe Robotnik is loosely based on John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, and Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States.

Genre: Surf RockIndie PopDream Pop
Similar artists: A Beacon School, Vansire, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Far Caspian
"New single from multi-instrumentalist, Blue Canopy, ft. Patrick J Smith of A Beacon School on guitar" "Bright Spot was written during a rough patch in my relationship with my long term partner. We were fighting a lot regarding rehoming our family dog, and I just wanted everything to be OK between us. This song sorts through my feelings throughout that time, hoping for a resolution."
NOEHMI - Bury Me
Genre:  Cinematic / Epic MusicAlt Pop
Moods: Sad, Dark, Epic
Similar artists: Halsey, Billie Eilish,
NOEHMI - Bury Me is striking. This moody, cinematic pop song explores the heavy weight of pressures and expectations of constantly trying to be perfect. From the start the song grabs you and takes you on a journey. The music is elegant and the lyrics very thoughtful.
Bury Me is a weary exploration of pressures and expectations through the lens of a people pleaser. The down-tempo piano piece voices the anger and desperation of someone who gives everything to those they love, receiving nothing in return. With labels like “doting daughter” and “perfect picture,” she has worked hard to make herself easy to love and has finally grown tired of it all. The chorus dives into dark moments when the weight of the word becomes too much to bear, and existence starts to feel too heavy. In short, Bury Me is what breaking under pressure sounds like. Noehmi is a singer-songwriter based in Minneapolis.

Ben Lorentzen - Second man on the Moon
Approved for: Stay Home Chill Zone Music Playlist, Indie Music that Inspires you
Genre:  Adult Contemporary, Pop Rock, Alt Pop
Similar artists: Ed Sheran, Harry Styles, Oasis, John Lennon
Ben Lorentzen is a Norwegian singer songwriter, born up north near Tromsø, where the climate is harsh, the landscape is majestic, and the sun is hidden 6 months out of the year.
The newest single from Ben Lorentzen ‘Second man on the Moon’ is a song about self isolation. It's a beautiful mix of the artists influences with a purposeful lyric and defined style.  The song is about choosing isolation in stead of community, and how easy it is to make that choice sometimes, and how hard it can be to choose trust, love, care and be in communication with others.

""Lucky Penny," our latest single release along with an official music video. 1:39 onward showcases a chorus and chill guitar solo."
We recorded this song after rehearsing for a show one night. One of us started playing the riff and the other spat out some lyrics with some good vibing thought behind it. We shot a music video that's on our Dirty Doves YouTube page up in Alexandria Bay with our friend, Mitch at Exit World Films. All in all, this song has really brought to light who The Dirty Doves really are. We hope you enjoy!
Cabela and Schmitt - Wondering

Cabela And Schmitt Finishes Out The Year With A Beautiful Song About Reflection Called 'Wondering'. Cabela and Schmitt finishes out the year with a beautiful song about reflection. The song is soothing with nostalgic tones further supporting a reflective theme that infuses well with the melodic chorus and lyrical content. I enjoyed the harmonies. They have such a wonderfully pleasing tone in a chaotic world. Thankfully Cabela and Schmitt are always there bringing us music that makes us feel less alone.

But there’s another message in the song, particularly for songwriters – never give up on a song that moves you. Alan wrote You Knew it Anyway with a friend when he was just 16 years old, and it now emerges all those years later with its lasting sentiments but a very different production.

Glyy - Next To Me
Commercial, Adult Contemporary, Alt Pop
" This is our new single, carefully crafted to be easy to listen to and hard to forget. Next to me is about a young boy with zero confidence when it comes to love.  Being in love but deciding not to do anything about it for one reason or another, and instead suffering in silence.
Self-published and multi-instrumentalist banda Glyy, hailing from Stockholm and Uppsala in Sweden, seeks to combine indie pop, string pop and a pastiche of afro genres to create unforgettable, never-before-heard por tunes. Members Alex (guitar), David (voice), Daniel (keyboards and cello) and Fernando (bass) are all about that fine line between what is popular and brilliant and what is new and interesting.
