Ko sem pretekel obljubljenih sto osem kilometrov, sem imel do cilja še petnajst minut teka po dežju. Seveda nisem bil navdušen.

Štart je bil ob šestih zjutraj. Samo organizator ve zakaj. Proga je lepa, na momente težka in zelo tekaška. Seveda po lepem vremenu. Mi smo imeli čez dan zelo ugodne pogoje. Zvečer se je pa ulilo in zapihalo. Mene je ujelo ravno na spustu iz Cetor proti Strunjanu. Po mojem mnenju najbolj nevarnem delu trase in ni nehalo deževati do cilja. Vseeno ne morem reči, da nisem užival. Dobra družba, spremljevalna ekipa, lepi konci, samo pohvale. Trasa je bila dobro označena, a na parih koncih označb sploh ni bilo. Trikrat sem zašel, najbol na koncu, kjer sem dva kilometra pred ciljem naredil dodatnih petsto metrov. Zgrešil sem tudi okrepčevalnico v Strunjanu, skoraj pa bi zgrešil tudi tisto v Zazidu.

Na tekmo se ne nameravam več vrniti, na traso pa vsekakor.
