Reth is such a baby. The fact that he gets so blushy, so flirty, and so flustered when you flirt with him just makes me think despite his reputation, he's never had a relationship where someone truly cared about him before.

He knows he's attractive, but everything else is self doubt and low self worth. He can't understand why you'd like him. He says you're out of his league.

But he's so cute and genuine and playful, and is so taken back when you show him warmth and love. Any sort of caring at all.

My heart breaks for him. I think he genuinely believed he was unlovable until you romance him in game. I think this is NEW to him despite him wanting you to think it's not.

I think he doesn't know how to be loved. Because no one (barring Tish) ever has.

Oh god I just got a dialogue with Sifuu where she says she prays to the Dragon every night, for Hassian’s protection but also for Taylin, hoping that she made it to the right side of the veil and… god it’s the first I realized that like. Them not knowing what happened to Taylin not only makes it hard for Sifuu to move on, not knowing if she’s still alive. But it also means they never got to give her a proper Majiri burial and take her to the Wellspring to pass through the veil. God that must hurt them both to imagine Taylin’s spirit out there, drifting, not being able to reunite with the Dragon. My heart 😭😭😭

Hassian and his fear of being vulnerable is what makes me love him so much.
