So I have been trying to clean out my space for the second time using the konmarie method. To be honest, I’m stuck now and am trying hard to think of a new category for my study.
The 1st category were my clothes, and they were a breeze. This was the second time that I was doing it so everything was more or less as it should be.
Shoes were challenging, I dropped 5 pairs and still am left with 17. That took about 1 full day of sorting.
Bags were tough too. About 1.5 days of sorting and placing. I had bags for everything. Big bags, backpacks, leather bags, shoe bags, plastic bags etc.
Somehow after I finish the category, I felt that it still was not fully cleaned out. Not sure if everyone feels the same way. I try not to revisit it as I will keep going in circles and not move to the next category.
I am enjoying the process so far. I have been unsuccessful in doing this method the first time so I am forcing hard to move forward and clear my struggle before the month is up!
