idk if this is weird but learning about personal color seasons (which is just fashion-related lol) actually helped me figure out why I struggle with coloring certain characters, for instance I struggle with most blond characters who also have light skin and now I know it’s because they’re low contrast types and most colors wash them out pretty easily, whereas I enjoy coloring 1.darker-skinned characters like heiji much more because they’re they aren’t easily overwhelmed by colors 2. but I also love high contrast characters in general because they’ll always look good in black or bold colors idk I guess I have a vendetta against low contrast sorrryyyyyy
