After reading some of my classmate's blogs, I have noticed that most of us relied on the social media (facebook, twitter) to communicate and get updates. I also noticed that most of them at first, thought that it was the normal earthquake, so they did not react to it immediately. Living in a country like Japan, earthquake is normal thing. Japanese know what to do in times like this. They might have been worried, but they did not actually panic. One example is bellymimi (http://bellymimi.wordpress.com/). She knows what to do during an earthquake. I am really amazed with how she calmly handled the situation.
