ooo okie okie. gonna do my favorite married bois, the corporalki husbands! i've planned this for a future prequel short story i'll be writing so there's a lot so it'll all be under the cut

okay so galen, fedyor, and ivan got married at the little palace around two and a half years after they start dating, roughly a couple months after they got engaged

ivan was the one who proposed btw

ivan wanted a very simple wedding with just the three of them and the person who was going to officiate it since y'know, the idea of people seeing the ivan show any emotions was something that couldn't happen in his eyes

yeah that didn't happen, not when galen gets a say

when he gets the chance, galen will embrace his inner elton john... or whatever tf the grishaverse's equivalent is

galen basically planned the entire wedding, with the occasional help of genya and fedyor aka the two people he trusted that had a sense of style unlike ivan who be a simple man

ivan did get a say on some of the food that would be at the reception tho, all three of them decided on that. galen had to include him at least a little otherwise he would have felt bad

there was a demand from a certain guest tho that there'd be waffles... could never guess who that could have been

galen was basically planning the wedding 24/7 for those few months, so much so that he had the journal he wrote the ideas and all that in on his person at all times even while he slept never know when you're gonna get an idea which fedyor totally didn't take sneaky peaks at when galen was asleep

it all paid off tho

and for somebody who likes to have things stand out, galen put together a wedding that was unique yet simple so poor ivan wouldn't be so uncomfortable

ivan being the stubborn mans he is, never will he admit how much he really loved the not simple aspects of the wedding even if the three of them have been married for nearly two years now by the start of the show

anybody who was at the little palace at the time was invited

the darkling i mean general kirigan officiated the wedding, which the three of them all wanted actually and were glad he accepted it

the wedding was honestly a nice change of pace for everybody there since y'know, not always the best for grisha since almost nobody likes them

galen, ivan, and fedyor each picked out rings for each other

it’s just honestly the cutest grisha wedding ever

galen’s vows were somewhat short and sweet surprisingly but he still ended up crying like a baby

fedyor’s vows were somewhat long and he definitely cried, but not like the babey that galen is

ivan freaken took everybody by suprise. he had the longest vows out of the three of them. it was the most anybody had ever heard ivan talk

boi seriously poured his heart out, in front of so many people at that, over his love for the two men that opened the soft side of the grumpy ball

it legit made galen cry even more like a babey and made fedyor get to that point of crying like a babey

it was the first time that anybody aside from galen and fedyor saw ivan smile

and it was the first and only time anybody saw ivan almost cry too

literally that entire night from the vows through the reception, all three were smiling and just full of so much joy

out of everybody who attended, genya and nina definitely cried over how sweet it was

nina absolutely lost it over galen, fedyor, and ivan’s first dance. just full on bawling, just ugly crying

ivan in far from home: grumpy ball, used to never show any emotion until his husbands that are basically golden retrievers as humans opened that side of him, softest and only the softest for his husbands, i will absolutely sob over his death when the time comes

where they get married

they get married at the little palace. they’re in a middle of a war, the fact that they were able to have the ceremony that they had was a shock

when they get married

they get married during the winter. the day was a bit cloudy, but they got married just after noon so they had some nice sunlight for the ceremony peaking through and between the grey clouds. if there was photos in the grishaverse, would have been some amazing photos

what traditions they include

i’m not sure what traditions for weddings there are in the grishaverse, but i’m sure they did at least a couple. galen and ivan probably weren’t aware of the type of wedding traditions there is, but fedyor being the romantic he is, he probably looked into it so they could do some if they wanted

what their wedding cake looks like

well, their wedding cake is a fairly simple one. it’s a small three tiered one (like biggest cake is a six inch) and each level has their favorite flavors and filling (galen’s is white cake with chocolate whipped frosting, fedyor’s is red velvet with cream cheese frosting, ivan’s is carrot cake with cream cheese frosting) and the outside is all cohesive. it’s white and there’s decorations of edible flowers that are red, silver, and black alongside some other decor here and there with the same color palette. now for the cake that everybody else gets to eat, it’s much bigger in order to feed everybody that went, but it has a similar outside and the two layers that it has, there’s flavors that mostly everybody likes

….who smashes cake into whose face

well they cut into the middle tier which is fedyor’s so he’s the unfortunate boi that got cake smashed in his face, surprisingly by ivan

who proposed to who first

bRUH i could go into so much detail over this proposal, but i’ll keep it simple so this doesn’t get as long. our mans ivan does the proposing to galen and fedyor. bUT if you want me to talk about it more, just let me know and i will

who walks down the aisle and who waits at the altar ( or neither )

so none of them really wait at the altar. they all decided that they’d each walk down, with alexei walking them down, since he’s the only father type figure fedyor and ivan have in their lives and because he’s galen’s father

what their wedding dresses / suits / other look like

sO, they wear a special kind of kefta, well they technically got two. so, for the ceremony itself, they have a wool kefta since it was outside but once it came to the reception, they switched into silk kefta. the keftas look like this, except galen’s has silver instead of the black (credit to blushnik on tumblr for the art)

what their wedding colour scheme is and what sort of decor they have

i mean, the little palace is already decorated pretty well so when it came to galen planning the wedding, he sort of catered his ideas to that. he also catered the ideas to match their kefta. so lots of red, black, silver, and gold. also some elegant decor

what flowers are in the bouquet

so none of them had an actual bouquet bUT they did each wear a handful of different flowers on their kefta and in their hair for fedyor and galen to act as their versions of a bouquet it was surprisingly ivan’s idea and they each wore calla lillies, lilacs, red peonies, and black roses. the major symbolism behind these flowers for these bois, is the fact that all these flowers were in the garden around them when ivan proposed

what their vows are

galen and fedyor wrote their vows out. fedyor’s had a small poem because he’s that kind of a romantic while the rest was just all stuff he wanted to say. galen’s was similar, except no poem. nOW for our boi ivan, he didn’t write his, he didn’t want to over think it, something he would have done if he wrote it down. boi basically just had a big declaration and he was hella vulnerable in that moment in front of everybody, and he never lets himself be vulnerable except when he knows he’s alone with galen and fedyor

if anyone’s late to the wedding

if i had to name one person? probably nina and/or zoya yes she actually went and one of the few times where she wasn’t an absolute bish in galen’s eyes

who’s in the bridal parties / groomsmen / other

they didn’t have any groomsmen or anything like that. the closest they’d have is maybe genya since she was right up at the front row, holding onto fedyor and galen’s vows so they didn’t lose them before they needed them because they would

what their bridal party / groomsmen / other are wearing

eh genya was probably just wearing a silk kefta like everybody else was

who gives speeches at the reception

oh genya tells at least one embracing as fuck story for fedyor and galen, because dammit those two have some… especially when they were trying to get ivan to smile prior to the three of them dating.

who catches the bouquet( s )

okay, so galen actually had a bouquet made for this and anybody could try and catch it. can’t decide if genya or nina would catch it, they’d definitely try and fight to get it at least fjdhdh

what their wedding photos are like

as far as i’m aware, there’s no way of photos in the grishaverse. bUT if there was any, all the wedding photos would just be of the ceremony and the reception, nothing fancy because those photos are in the moment and not staged. so absolutely the cake in the face, the three of them during the vows, they’d all just be hella cute

what sort of food they have at the reception

there’s a bit of common ravkan food per ivan’s request there’s some more of the “fancy” food. lots of deserts. and per the request of a certain heartrender, there was waffles

who cries first during the ceremony

genya. she started bawling the moment that the ceremony began

how wild their reception gets

it doesn’t get too wild. it’s just honestly a great escape from dealing with the war so everybody has a great time

what their rings are like

ehhhhh there’s not really favors… galen planned the wedding in like four months, favors were on the bottom of his priorities

they went to balakirev for a couple weeks. they wanted to get out of os alta for a bit and just spend time together, but balakirev was close enough that if they were absolutely needed before their honeymoon was over, they could return within a few hours on horse

something memorable that happens during the party / ceremony

i mean…. ivan’s vows were probably the most memorable moment of the wedding. it still gets talked about nearly two years later

who officiates the ceremony

they asked general kirigan to officiate the wedding, who happily accepted and did it for some of his favorite grisha

what song their first dance is to

in reality, it’s probably a ravkan song played on orchestra instruments. but if we’re talking about playing over a show moment, it’s i’ll keep you safe by sleeping at last

who gives who away as they walk down the aisle

there was really no giving away, but galen’s wonderful father: alexei did walk each of them down the isle

“I can’t sleep, can I sleep here?”

prepare for some cuteness and softness from these bois in their dating days oml

the early dating days at that

Fedyor and Galen's lips slowly separated, resting their foreheads together. They rested in each others arms, smiling at one another. Fedyor's finger traced the scarred marking on Galen's left inner arm while Galen twirled a string on Fedyor's undershirt.

Galen's eyes felt heavy as Fedyor quietly hummed, "Do you think Ivan is going to stay in the same bed as us any time soon, if at all?" Galen spoke softly.

"We've only been dating him for a few months, Gal. I'm surprised he'll even hold our hands with how iffy he is with showing affection," Fedyor chuckled. "But hey, we got the grumpy guy to smile."

"We just had to act like idiots," Galen's nose scrunched up as a tired grin grew.

"But when aren't we acting like idiots, outside of duties at least?" Fedyor raised an eyebrow.

"Very tru--"

A faint knock came from the door, causing both Galen and Fedyor to look towards it.

"I'll get it," Galen quietly said, giving a kiss on Fedyor's cheek before getting out of their bed.

Galen put on his robe but didn't tie it, covering up most of his torso, while wearing comfortable pants. He opened the door, yet nobody was there. Looking into the hallway, a figure was walking away. There was enough light for them to recognizable however.

"Ivan?"

Ivan stopped. It took him a moment before coughing up the courage to turn around and walk back, "Sorry. . . am I bothering you and Fed?"

Galen sighed and shook his head, smiling with tired eyes "Of course not, Ivan. We were just laying down, is something wrong?"

"I. . ." Ivan rubbed the back of his neck. "Nevermind."

"Ivan," Galen grabbed onto his wrist before Ivan could go to leave again, slowly rubbing small circles on his inner wrist. "We're here for you, the both of us. I know you're probably still getting used to being with people like Fed and me, but if we can't have clear communication between the three of us. . . it won't work."

Ivan bit down on the inside of his cheek, looking down at Galen's hand that was wrapped around his wrist before his eyes wandered back up. That robe looked so obnoxious on Galen yet it worked for them.

"I just. . . I can’t sleep, can I sleep here? With you and Fedyor?"

Galen spared a glance into the room, seeing Fedyor was up and leaning against the wall as he listened to the conversation. Fedyor nodded.

"Yeah, of course, Ivan. If you feel like you want to and are ready to," Galen returned kind eyes to Ivan, the corner of his lips tugging up.

Ivan shrugged, trying to hide the fear he felt in his body yet Galen could feel it regardless of how hard he tried, "If I just don't go for it, I doubt I'll ever be ready."

Galen lead Ivan into his and Fedyor's room. Galen hung his robe back up and laid in bed back with Fedyor who returned to the bed prior to Ivan entering the room.

Ivan, already in sleeping attire, laid under the blanket and on the edge of the bed on his side, leaving nearly a foot of space between him and the two that laid in each other's arms. He kept his back to them. Sparing a glance behind his shoulder, he noticed that both Fedyor and Galen each had a hand resting in the empty space between them and him.

"Goodnight, Ivan," Fedyor whispered, closing his eyes.

"Sleep well, love," Galen added, looking at the stand offish Ivan with tired eyes.

"You too. . . both of you," Ivan responded after a few seconds in silence.

Ivan still felt as if he couldn't sleep, but he at least felt tired compared to when he was alone in bed. He let one of his arms rest behind his back after what felt like hours of being awake in their bed, yet was only perhaps fifteen minutes at most. Slowly, his arm moved farther back and grazed Fedyor and Galen's hands that were practically interlocked. With another look behind his shoulder, the two were seemingly asleep. His pinky wrapped around their fingers, managing to have his pinky around one finger of theirs each.

A small smile grew on both of their faces.

He kept his back to them, looking out towards the window where the stars covered the night sky. Eventually, his eyelids became truly heavy and sleep over took him like it did with Fedyor and Galen. In the morning, he woke up to almost no space between him and them. It wasn't because they made their way to him, but he made his way to them. The two didn't wrap their arms around Ivan to pull them into the embrace and cuddles that they shared in the night. However, the three of them were holding hands by morning. . . with Ivan's hand being sandwiched between theirs.

Ivan began sleeping with them more and more often after that night, until it eventually became every night.

None of them really? Not really much of a thing for them

Who teases the others the most?

Galen and Fedyor just team up and tease poor Ivan. They know Ivan is secretly a soft boi despite acting all angy all the time

Who proposes?

Probably Ivan. They’d all of course be all alone because that’s how Ivan is when showing affection to his boyfriends and Ivan being the way he is, he’d legit take Fedyor and Galen by surprise with the proposal.... should they actually be married though clary 👀

Who is the most protective?

They’re all pretty protective of one another however I feel like naturally Ivan and Fedyor would be protective of Galen because while they can fight at a distance as heartrenders, if Galen wants to fight as a healer he generally has to be up close and as a result he’s more in danger

Who is the closest to the child? (Whether it be a fur baby, scale baby, or human child.)

They would totally have a fur baby that’s a cat and Ivan would be the closest. He would totally be like the dad that doesn’t want the cat but after a week, he’s caught sleeping on the couch with the cat curled up in the crook of his neck and would also get the cat a nice salmon filet as a special treat once in a while

Who gives the best advice?

Probably Galen. With the way he is, he just naturally is good at that because he can actually sense what people go through

Who is like a therapist?

Galen once again for the same reasons above

Who sings B and C to sleep?

Secretly Ivan. He has an amazing voice and Galen and Fedyor love it

Is the relationship healthy?

Absolutely. In some ways people don’t think it is because of how Ivan is but they never get to truly see the Ivan that Galen and Fedyor see.

Do A and B have a stronger bond with each other? Or do C and B or C and A have a stronger bond? Or are A, B, and C close together [equally]?

I’d say it’s pretty equally. In small small ways Galen and Fedyor are closer and have a stronger bond because they were together first before they both fell for Ivan but for as long as the three of them have been together, all three have a strong bond together

Who can be trusted to be left home alone?

Absolutely none of them

Who cries the most?

Probably Galen? He can get overwhelmed kinda easily if he’s in a large crowd with being able to sense emotions and his way of dealing with being overwhelmed is crying however Ivan and Fedyor help calm him down as long as they’re there with him

Who is the softest?

It’s so difficult to chose between Fedyor and Galen

Who is the shortest?

Technically Fedyor however him and Ivan are really close in height at 5’11”

Who is the tallest?

Galen my boi at 6’2” but he also commonly wears boots that make him just a lil taller. If he’s wearing those boots, he’s probably rocking 6’4”

Who likes cuddles the most?

Secretly Ivan, especially from Galen because he’s a naturally warm boi so both Ivan and Fedyor love cuddling Galen and feeling all warm and toasty, but Ivan really loves them

Last of all, who sings terribly in the shower?

Galen. He can’t sing even if his life depended on it

the moment ivan realized how much he truly loved being in the middle

“You look so comfy, and cuddle-able.”

Ivan opened an eye, mumbling as he was half asleep already. Galen sat on the edge of the bed with the moonlight hitting his face just right to be recognizable in the mostly dark room.

"You're not making any sense," Ivan groaned, closing his eye and settling deeper into the bed.

"If only you could see you right now," Galen smiled, sighing happily. He crawled over and went under the covers. "Looking so cute, comfy, and cuddle-able." Galen wrapped his arms around Ivan and nuzzled up against him. He laid his head under Ivan's chin.

Ivan grumbled, loosely and sleepily wrapping an arm around Galen while keeping his eyes closed. His body subconsciously leaned into Galen from the warmth he radiated.

"Well what do you have here?" Fedyor grinned as he walked out of the bathroom while finishing drying his hair.

"Doesn't Ivan look so comfy and cuddle-able right now, Fed?" Galen turned his head enough to look at Fedyor.

"Galen. . . " Ivan muttered under his breath, keeping his eyes closed.

Fedyor nodded. He made his way to the other side of the bed and laid down, slipping under the covers, "He really does, Galen," Fedyor laid up against Ivan on the other side. He rested his head on Ivan's shoulder and draped his arm across Ivan's chest after snugging into him, "He absolutely does."

Ivan laid his other arm around Fedyor. After a few moments of trying not to, Ivan finally caved in and pulled Galen and Fedyor in closer. He sleepily kissed the top of their heads and relaxed into them more. A small sleepy smile grew on Ivan's face as the three of them began to drift off to sleep.

It felt really nice. Nicer than Ivan was willing to admit.

Technically Fedyor. Galen had small crushes here and there growing up but his first legit love was Fedyor when he was eighteen. They started dating probably four ish years prior to the start of Far From Home before they both fell for Ivan and soon started dating him as well close to a year and a half after that. The three of them have been married close to a year and a half now

Their happy place

In bed. Cuddling with his husbands. Or just anywhere with his husbands really

Do they believe in ghosts or not?

They haven’t had a reason to believe or not to believe in ghosts. So if Galen finds a reason to believe ghosts exist, then they’ll believe them

Their favourite snack

My boi loves munching on some sweets Winter Fete is going to be heaven for them

Their go-to method for letting off steam

Just being in the presence of his husbands is usually more than enough. If he gets so overwhelmed when he’s not near them, he tends to cry which isn’t often

Their type in lover/partner (if they have those desires)

Galen is into men cis or trans, he don’t discriminate and that’s about as specific as it gets. As long as he can feel like there’s some sort of connection at least and he vibes with them well being an empath helps determines that for him easily he’s down

If they have a lucky object

how the writers do my favourite bois Galen and Lorenzo dirty?

this is hard to really think about. as far as i'm aware, the show has done really well with doing characters good... so i'm just really stretching for it here.

Galen

they might not have the fact that galen is an empath correctly? i'd love for it to not be ever outright said and just shown and hinted at. but like i said earlier, this is stretching it. they did do jesper wonderfully when it came to his abilities

not enough screen time for corpoalki husbands! it'd only be enough screen time if it was all the screen time

Lorenzo

maybe the fact of the internal conflict he has all the time when it comes to jesper wouldn't be done right. like sometimes, there's nothing more than he wants to do than just kiss jesper or tell him how he truly feels but he always stops himself, which chapter two proves to be quite often. after alba broke up with him once he joined the crows because she didn't want to be with and truly love somebody who could at any moment die and also could potentially put a target on her back by other gangs, lorenzo realized he didn't want to do that to anybody. even though him and jesper are in a gang, the same one at that, lorenzo still has this mindset that he shouldn't so he always stops himself one way or another despite it already being too late because he had his bi-wakening by jesper fahey and has been infatuated from the start.
