What Sosuke Aizen looks for in a s/o

3rd person. Genderneutral.

Aizen needs someone smart. Not necessarily book smart, but someone who can get behind his ideals and plans, someone he can have long conversations with if he desires so. If he constantly needs to explain his reasoning he might get bored.

Speaking about his ideals. He definitely needs someone that can get behind his plans, whenever he decides to tell them. Someone who will be supportive of his goals, but opinionated enough to challenge and question him enough without really going against him. He loves a good discussion, he just doesn’t like losing.

His s/o wouldn’t be a dominant personality. He is pretty domineering himself, so another dominant personality would just clash unnecessarily.

Doesn’t mean his s/o needs to be an entirely submissive personality either. His s/o would still need to challenge him and keep him interested. Just… not going against his desires.

An entirely submissive personality would also clash with the general surroundings. Aizen needs someone who’s strong enough to stand their ground in Las Noches, maybe even tell some of the Espada what to do. He’s still their main leader, but an s/o who’s able to take charge when it comes to his underlings definitely would be a plus. As long as they don’t turn that attitude on him.

Don’t play hard to get with Aizen. If he expresses interest, and his crush rejects it, he will no longer pursue them. Partly out of respect, partly because he has no interest in pursuing something with someone who is not going to be interested anyway.

Lookwise, he doesn’t really have preferences, although he would prefer someone smaller than him, just for the fact that he enjoys a certain amount of dominance and towering over his s/o, which would be easier with a soul reaper s/o in general, as most of Las Noches’ inhabitants are quite tall.

Aizen wouldn’t necessarily like his s/o to be clingy, but short, tender moments would be greatly appreciated. Sitting close to him, or maybe even on his lap as he has meetings or is working out certain plans.

Other touches and romantic gestures are often fast and fleeting. Stolen kisses, soft caresses, especially when other people are around. Things can get more intimate and intense when you’re in private though.

Aizen’s love languages are gift-giving and physical touch, the latter mostly in private. His s/o ideally matches up with those love languages. He’s a busy man, so quality time is not something that happens often, and although he has a way with words, he will seldomly use them to express his affection.

All in all, he just needs someone who is headstrong and generally strong, and patient enough to wait on the precious moments he will share with them, because those will be there, but they will be rare.
