#eliot posts#this is about my mental illness but i've heard a lot of physical chronic illness ppl talk about similar#anyway ive been on modafanil for my depressive symptoms and adhd the past few weeks lmao#it's not goin well.#they were hoping the side effects would go away after a couple weeks (and a dose decrease that i suggested)#but as time goes on they're getting WORSE#i think next i wanna see about more mood stabilizers maybe#or ask em to whip out the big guns n put me on an maoi#the logic behind trying the modafanil was sound bc my worst symptoms are fatigue anhedonia and avolition#but the effects in practice are just Not It
