Okay so, I don’t feel like it’s just me that’s made this observation but:

Ororo’s character has been in publication for like 50 years and writers haven’t given thought to what cultural practices/background she hails from other than just a specific geography. That’s CORNY.

Her mother’s from northwest Kenya, but what tribe is she? What are her cultural practices? Africa is a continent, Kenya is a country with multiple ethnic groups that have their own subsections of practices and beliefs. Does Ororo lean toward her mother’s native heritage or does she largely follow Egyptian culture because her formative years were spent on the streets of Cairo? Did she ever struggle with a disconnect between these regions when she went back to Kenya to be the Windrider? All questions I’m way more interested in having answered than whatever love triangles the X-Men have going on this week.

due to personal reasons being smacked with reminders of the thought that satoshi does not know his mom as a person like. at all anymore. hanako doesn't know her son as a person anymore either. satoshi's spent so much time on the road & so little back home in between that they only really know about each other what they knew when they still lived together. because satoshi Doesn't live in masara anymore. he doesn't live in alola, either; he doesn't live in any one place, he Stays places, he's not homeless but Lives on the Road. satoshi doesn't know what hanako's interests are, doesn't know what she does for fun these days, doesn't know the places she likes to go, the new friends she's made, if there's a show or movie she's a fan of. hanako knows satoshi likes anything related to pokémon ... & that's the extent of it, doesn't know how his tastes have changed, doesn't know of friends he's made unless they've come over, doesn't know about his work for the league, his powers & how they've developed, doesn't know anything outside satoshi's public image & the glimpses she gets when he stays over for a few weeks, & even those he mostly spends outside the house. they're family but they're strangers, hanako remembers satoshi most clearly as a just-turned-ten child & thus keeps treating him as she did when he was just her sweet little gremlin of a boy that she loved to tease & embarrass, & accordingly satoshi only gets to meet her same as she was when he was young, & nothing ever changes. & everything changes. & everything stays the same.

another reason as to why pax does not like using his vampire lord form: when he reverts back, his body no longer fits into place. joints out of sockets, muscles feel/are ripped, bones mangled, skin torn. yes, he recovers exceptionally fast due to his healing factor but it takes longer for everything to feel like it is where it’s supposed to be. his body doesn’t recognize itself as a whole; fragmented pieces trying to find where they belong. sometimes he can work everything back in place, sometimes it sorts itself out

Bronya is reaching the age when Cocolia adopted her to become the next Supreme Guardian but I don't think she would want to follow those footsteps. She'd never want to adopt a child, love them and then put them on the battlefield with no mercy. She still suffers from nightmares because of it and she could never force someone to do what she had to do.

Of course, because it's tradition, people would often question her decision and try to push her into that direction, to get a child who shall become the new Supreme Guardian eventually. But when does she find the time to love and dote on a child? Even when Bronya was little, it was Serval who spent time with her when Cocolia was busy working. Sure, Seele could help her out but she has her own role to fulfill.

Bronya would love nothing more than to be a free woman who doesn't have to put up and act and can be herself. She knows that it will never happen but at least she can make the decision not to make another child go through what she's dealing with.

As is custom, most of my time is currently spread thin between studying exams and spending time with family. Since I still intend to return to activity, I want to give a little headsup of what the plan is:

As I've said before, I want to make a new sideblog for Cayin's Elden Ring verse so that I can more comfortably explore its themes, interactions and aesthetics without it diluting the things I've been doing with his main verse. I think this may help kick things off in terms of returning to activity, and let people pick whichever setting they're most interested in.

Thing is, I've been going back and forth with the theme among other small details. My attention has also been horrendous, and while it's been getting better and I'm making progress in returning to my hobbies, it's still going more slowly than I'd like. I've been torn between making a quick placeholder for the blog (so that I can start things off without having to wait for these creative obstacles to be gone) or taking my time to ensure that this theme fits my ideas for the blog.

Since studies and family remain my focus, but I don't want to keep postponing this indefinitely, I'm going to wait at least until the Winter break is over, and potentially until the first batch of exams is done (so roughly until the middle of January) to make the blog. Whether it's a placeholder or something finished.

I may still do a thing or two here before then, depending on what my spare time allows. I've missed being around on this blog. Take care everyone, and as always, feel free to message me if you'd like to plot or simply chat.

why did he spend so much time with elise instead of being more involved with the rest of the plot? maybe it's just in the hedgehog's nature to sometimes be drawn to hurting people that need a little brightness in their lives. maybe he's just kind and can sense when someone needs a friend for a while.

also, eggman was targeting elise the entire time, and sonic knows how the madman operates. he was looking out for the princess!

Oh, absolutely. I mean, look at literally any hug he’s ever given/received. On mobile so I don’t have any on hand but I’m sure you can think of a few. He holds onto the other person like it’s the first and last hug he’s ever gonna get. So, I can conclude that for sure he’d give amazing cuddles and you know what? He deserves to.
