08 September 2019 Of all the places to go to chill and walk and have fun while reflecting (bec it's re-consecration day to Mary), I decided to go to Universal Studios Singapore (since I have annual pass anyway). As I was walking and reflecting for my (re-)consecration prayer, i found myself standing at a leather bracelets retail shop, the usual kind where you can engrave your name on the plain bracelets they're selling for free. I was about to walk away but for some reason I went closer and browsed through the different plain leather bracelets. In the last row of bracelets, the one and only stretchable bracelet caught my eye. When i was asked if i want the free engraving, it just came into my mind at that instant these words "Totus Tuus". It is the apostolic motto of St. John Paul II, who has been a great influence in my life since i was 6yrs old. I've been desiring to have a shirt, a cap, a bracelet or anything with these words. I believe that as I was reflecting there in USS, it is the Holy Spirit that led me to that shop. That put in my mind these words so I can have a "Totus Tuus" bracelet - a personalised one. It was totally unexpected. A strange place to get this kind of bracelet. I believe it is grace. And a reminder that God is present everywhere. He can be found everywhere. As long as we are open, and are seeking, and are willing to recognise Him, like our Blessed Mother. When we have a desire to completely belong to God like Mary, we can always find ourselves in the presence of God. 29 June Forever blessed to be born on the day of the Solemnity of Sts Peter and Paul, making them my guides and inspirations growing up. 08 September 2019 Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! Happy Baptismal Anniversary to me! Happy Marian (re-)consecration Day to me and Marie! Again and again, I will thank You Lord for the wisdom given to my parents, and for the grace that I be baptized on this day n-years back. Which is a day of celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. And from then on, this day has always been a reminder for me to look to Mary to be my model as I continue to live out my life as a Christian, as a Catholic, and as a child of God. Today, I celebrated my baptismal anniv with a mass and procession at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. And my baptismal anniv is extra special this year because of the grace to be prayed over by two priests. First with Fr. Charlie Oasan, who has been the first priest that I met here in Singapore way back in 2014. Second is Fr. Bobby Emprayil, who I just met today, and i'm so blessed and overwhelmed for that quite conversation that we had before and after he prayed over me. Mother Mary, happy happy birthday. Thank you for guiding me and for leading me to Jesus ever since that day, and for always interceding in my prayers. Today also is even more special as today is my 5th Marian (re-)consecration day through the 33 Days of Morning Glory. Mama Mary, like my (re-)consecration last year, I give you full permission to do your work in me, that I may become a saint, and a true child of God fully surrendered to the will of God in my life. Teach me to know, to love, and to serve God. Teach me to always proclaim "I am the Lord's servant, may it happen to me as you have said."
