What does the the car remind you mods and anons of? // omg I really liked mod’s description, maybe because I have a similar feeling about it. Also stuff that Alex has said over the years and particularly during the press tour of this album has affected my feelings.

To me The Car is an album for introverts. It’s about being lonely in the middle of a crowd, feeling like an outsider, not fitting in, being misunderstood, living inside your head and longing for the bygone years. It feels like fall, most probably because of its release date. It’s like being the person who cares the most and gets hurts the most. It also makes me feel like I’m in an old movie. You know how people say some movies are style over substance? I can’t exactly imagine a plot but a lot of scenes and aesthetics come to my mind, mostly because of songs like Sculptures, Jet Skis, Hello You, Mr Schwartz, Perfect Sense, Mirrorball, etc. Hotel rooms, gigantic sculptures and their shadows in empty museums and art galleries, having coffee at a small café, walking around big mansions and gardens, listening to old jazz music at a bars, disco balls, film cameras, vintage record players, etc. It feels like driving a vintage car alone on a highway in the countryside when the sun is coming up or going down. The feeling when you’re moving to another place or when everyone has moved and you’re left alone. Also the entire “old money” aesthetic that’s become popular recently lol. Hope it makes sense

idk if anyone has been to a wxw show (except for fromaninringperspective), but do the regular ones have a meet & greet type thing either before or after the show (the part where you can buy merch from dudes and say hi), or just bigger events like 16 carat and world tag league?

though my massive spending would indicate otherwise, i legitimately want to go to germany sometime next year and wxw is definitely on the list of things to do
