Yeah that's like half of it. you can't go half a season without someone sustaining life-threatening stab wounds, people exploding or dazai getting a fake-out death and it not being taken seriously at all.

the most iconic line to me is in the english dub when atsushi gets like. impaled by a katana. and kunikida goes 'you're a weretiger. grow some were-balls'
