LURKER BUT CHARACTER BUILDING QUESTIONS: How does Thorin deal with his trauma from losing his home to traveling back to Erebor and Smaug? Does behave any lingering effects from dragon sickness?

x. Thorin doesn't necessarily handle the trauma. It's really just him keeping all of the emotions; anger and hurt, mostly, locked up. He broods, which is not a good thing at all but hey. Does he listen? No. He feels that the trauma is his alone to carry and it shouldn't be anyone's burden to carry. A lot of the anger and hurt over the loss of his home and the 'betrayal' of their allies literally built up to the point that he let's it show. So, in essence: he's not very good with dealing with it.

x. Lingering effects. The only thing that lingers from the dragon sickness is the fear of allowing it to consume him again. He tries not to be around gold all that much because there is a natural greed that dwarves have. He does actually have nightmares of that point in his life, but other than that; no. Just mainly guilt and a fear of going down that path again.

Dean caught sight of Anna in the corner of his eye, double taking for a moment before settling his gaze upon her. His eyes narrowed, he wasn’t sure whether to trust her ‘innocent’ seeming looks.

“I sleep better if you’re around.”

Geralt smiled and placed his arm around her. "I'm here, was just taking my armor in for repairs."

Dean smile to himself getting all flustered and excited over a kiss, he miss her and her attention it's been a while and dean was here all by himself wonder if the king and queen of hell will ever come back for their knight. to show him kindness, for his service and protection he will kindly ask for nothing more than a kind touch.

Danny honestly could not tell you why Grace needed new clothes right now. Something about a sleepover weekend with girls from school? He wasn’t sure why that meant a new wardrobe, but because he loved his child so very much, there Dany was, navigating between racks of colorful fabric while still trying to keep an eye on his kid. Who was apparently running out of patience to wait for him. 

“Monkey, c’mon, wait up. It’d be very easy to lose you here. Please don’t make it easier by - by... hm.” Danny stopped to clear his throat, since the woman that walked right in front of Grace somehow managed to dry up his mouth in about two seconds flat. 

Her hand drops to run along his chest. Stopping the kiss. “Khonshu is watching though?”

" i don't know and i don't care." Jake pulled her again into the kiss this time more forceful.

"You were in my way and looked like you needed help." He shrugs. "If I helped you then you'd move." It had been his thought process, seeing no issue behind it there. It was honest, she had asked and so he had told her the truth. "Is this a problem?" He questions with a tilt of his head as arms moved to then cross over his chest. As far as he was concerned there was nothing wrong with what he did. And so he felt the reaction was a bit over the top. "What else did you want me to do, hm?" He questions, looking her over one more time. "Let you just struggle here trying to reach the top shelf?"

Her eyes remain on him for a moment before speaking. “Maybe you need to work on making those negative thoughts a bit more positive then.” Anna wasn’t a therapist or psychologist, but she knew a bit about having negative thoughts. She was one to keep them to herself and expose when needed for her nighly endeavors. “If you don’t like those questions, what ones do you want asked?”

He took a breath. “It’s hard when everyone else believes them. Encourages them,” Arthur told the woman. “You know when I was younger no one believed I could be a comedian?” He moved to sit down on the chair that was behind him, and rested his head on his hands. “I would rather any questions than those ones. Questions that help me overcome these negative thoughts.”
