The Agnipath recruitment scheme is a transformative initiative that will provide a youthful profile to the armed forces. Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar said women will also be inducted into the armed forces under the new scheme. Officials, however, added that the recruitment of women under the scheme will depend on the needs of the respective services.

Agnipath Scheme Details- Latest Updates

Recruitment Details- For IAF, Online Registration has been started from 24th June 2022 onwards. The candidates interested to join India Air Force as an Agniveer can submit their application form for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022 by

05th July 2022 (5 pm).

The Online Exam to start on 24th July 2022, the first batch of Agniveers to be induced in IAF in December 2022 and training to start from 30th December 2022 onwards.

For the Indian Navy, the complete calendar will be released on 25th June 2022, detailed notification will be released on 09th July 2022 and online registration to begin on 15th July 2022.

For Indian Army, Registration to start in July 2022, the first batch of Agniveers to be shortlisted for Indian Army troops in December 2022 and training to start from 30th December 2022 onwards.

Reservation- The government has announced a 10% reservation for ‘Agniveers’ in central police forces & Assam Rifles with upper age relaxation. Defence Ministry also came up with a 10% quota which will cover the Coast Guard, defence civilian posts and 16 defence PSUs, which include major ones like Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Electronics, as well as four shipyards and 41 ordnance factories.

Training- As per, Army Chief General Manoj Pande, the training of first agniveers will begin this December (in 2022) at the centres.

Agneepath Yojna- How to Apply?

The vacancies and joining process will be made available on the armed forces’ respective websites, joinindianarmy.nic.in, joinindiannavy.gov.in, and careerindianairforce.cdac.in. The scheme was announced on 14th June 2022 and the opening of applications is likely to start shortly. The first Agnipath entry rally Bharti is expected to be started in September/October 2022.

Agneepath Yojna Salary

Agniveers will be given an attractive customised monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services. On completion of their engagement period of 4 years, Agniveers will be paid one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of Rs 11.71 Lakh which shall comprise their contribution including accrued interest thereon and matching contribution from the Government equal to the accumulated amount of their contribution including interest as indicated below. The salary for Agniveers in the 1st year will be around Rs. 4.76 lakh per annum which increases to Rs. 6.92 lakh per annum for the final year. The ‘Seva Nidhi’ will be exempt from Income Tax.

The Indian Army recruitment 2022 process has been announced for as many as 40 vacancies for unmarried male engineering graduates in the 136th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-136). The application process is currently ongoing on the Indian Army’s official website – joinindianarmy.nic.in – and will last till June 9.

The TGC course is all set to begin in January 2023 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun. Apart from TGC recruitment, the Indian Army is all set to implement new changes in the recruitment of candidates in the three services (Army, Navy, and Air Force) under the Tour of Duty/Agneepath scheme.

Bollywood movies that took inspiration from Hollywood movies

Although there are several Bollywood originals that have been released in the last several years but there are times when Bollywood got inspiration from some of the best Hollywood flicks and ended up adding little or no creativity of their own to it. While there are some in which only a bit of inspiration has been taken and the rest assures to be completely original. So here is a list of some those of very brilliant and successful Bollywood movies that took inspiration from the industry of Hollywood:

1) Dhamaal (2007) - Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) - One of the funniest movies to be released a few years back is an official remake of an American comedy movie which is named Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. The plot of both movies is somewhat similar. Both include a thief who's dying words lead to spark a madcap rush in the country in order to find some hidden treasure. Despite being copied, the movie was great and the artist pick for the movie was just perfect for the roles to be played.

2) Mere Dad Ki Maruti (2013) - Dude, Where's My Car? (2000) -The plot of the movie Mere Dad Ki Maruti is taken from the movie Dude, Where's My Car? The plot is about two young men who after a night of recklessness are unable to recall the location where they parked their car. Both the movies are great and are a must-watch at least once.

3) Murder (2004) - Unfaithful (2002) - A great and a commercially successful movie in India, Murder remains to be an uncredited remake of the Hollywood movie called Unfaithful. The plot of these movies revolves around a couple in which the wife indulges in an external affair with a man. Both the movies were commercially successful in their respective industries.

4) Agneepath (1990) - Scarface (1983) - The iconic character of Al Pacino from the movie Scarface ended up inspiring another iconic character of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie called Agneepath. A low life scum is what the plot of the movie revolves around who ends up becoming a mafia and reaching the top with his ability to fight for respect.

5) Awarapan (2007) - A Bittersweet Life (2005) - A totally uncredited remake of a movie of the South Korean industry, Awarapan has been inspired by the movie A Bittersweet Life. The ethical codes of the mob in Korea and their clash with personal mortality are illustrated in the movie.
