There are 2 TALMUDS???
I found this interesting. I have heard that the talmud was not of GOD, but preverted and used by muslims and evil ones to corrupt GOD's people....much like an apostate, viper, or wolf in sheep clothing.  I was not aware there are 2 Talmuds. 1 is the Jewish Talmund and the other is babylonian.  i have not read either yet, but i think i would only be open to reading the JEWISH TALMUD of course.  I was searching on the internet for information and came across the below article.   I think out of all the articles I found this one helped the most. Now I know what TALMUD to Look for......  https://www.quora.com/Who-is-the-founder-of-the-Talmud?share=1

One was written in Iraq (Babylonian Talmud) around 500 AD. The redactors were Rav Ashi and Ravina.
The other was written in the land of Israel (Jerusalem Talmud) around 350-400 AD. The redactor is not well known, but probably from Tiberias in the Galilee from the Rabbinic school of Rabbi Yohanan Bar Nafha.
Both Talmuds were written by Orthodox Rabbis who were studying, teaching, and explaining the laws and stories in the Bible. It was not meant to replace the Bible, just to expound on it and to explain it.
Orthodox Jews see the Talmud as containing the legally binding expression of the Oral Law taught by the Prophet Moses together with the written 5 books of the Torah.
