OC-tober prompts 11+6 – "hot cocoa palette" and "symbol"!

say hi to the bust-out brigade, a roller derby team inspired by albums by The Go! Team! these guys have really different palettes from each other, so it was really fun trying to unify them all under one palette. i think some of them came out looking really cool, actually!

these guys have a lot of symbols connected to them, and i included all of them in the background.

their names from left to right are Throwdown, Marcie, Ladyflash, Rolodex, and Mayday. all named after songs from their respective albums!

here’s an update on my characters inspired by The Go! Team’s albums! i’ve finished my design for “MARCIE”, based on the album Proof Of Youth!

i also renamed STRIKER to “LADYFLASH,” after the song from Thunder, Lightning, Strike!

i also decided on their main instruments in the little fictional band. marcie plays guitar, while ladyflash goes ham on the melodica!

i have clear personalities for the two in mind that i haven’t detailed yet on here. these two have a sisterly dynamic!
