Beacon Hills was fortunate that Esme's upbringing was more influenced by nurture rather than nature, thanks to her caregivers Amira and Ludomir. But what if she wasn’t? In an alternate universe where Amira Kriger passes away shortly after giving birth, custody of Esme is initially given to Chris, but he later hands it over to Gerard. Kate Argent raises Esme like a clone, and Gerard trains her like a soldier. When Chris moves to Beacon Hills with his wife and daughter, Esme's sent to live with them. Gerard and Kate tell him it's to spend time with his daughter, but they tell Esme the truth; They want her to keep an eye on him and how he manages the werewolf situation in Beacon Hills. However, Kate and Gerard's upbringing did not prepare Esme for a quiet suburban life. When her prey sneaks its way into her home, and the prey’s best friend sneaks his way into her heart, the hunt takes on a level of complexity unlike any she has faced before. So the question arises; What scars deeper? A werewolf’s claws or a hunter’s knife?

Beacon Hills is a haunted little suburban in Nowhere, California. It’s like any other town of its size; normal, boring. At least to those with the fortune of being every bit as ordinary as they seem.

Normality is something many take for granted, especially Esme Kriger. She had the typical life of a teenage girl, maybe a little more luxurious, but still incredibly mundane. So when that all changes, she asks the only logical question; “what did I do to deserve this?”

A lot of things if she’s being honest. Dating your best friends boyfriend doesn’t exactly make for good karma. But most people just get bitch-slapped. Instead, Esme gets a bunch of supernatural bullshit.

I don’t have any headcanons but from what I know, I think they would definitley be friends! Unless they compete for Stiles’ attention, Esme doesn’t take well with people trying to take things she believes are her. Even if she’s all for Girl Power, and a woman don’t need no man.

AU in which Esme is captured by Theo for the Dread Doctors, Stiles and the pack manage to save her but despite the fact she remembers nothing, they were too late to stop the experiments. After running into Theo, Esme discovers why she’s been starving and no meal has been able to sate her. Esme has been made into a bat-lion chimera, hence the new aversion to light and the craving for raw meat.
