I live! And PMD Explorers has me by the throat again fjdkghn
This picture took way too long but it's done and I'm happy with how it came out for the most part!!! I've been replaying Sky and this is my team, Wren the Eevee and Oriole the Shinx! I have a lot of thoughts about them and hopefully I'll be able to share a bunch of 'em!

Please tell me... My... my life... Did it shine...?”#“Yes. Extraordinarily.”

She may appear quiet or unassuming, but she has a vibrant, passionate inner life. She's highly creative and inventive, and she joyfully loses herself in daydreams, imagining all kinds of stories and conversations in her head. She is a caring and empathetic person. My sky team! I'm currently designing the future trio, so they'll be next maybe hopefully
I'm gonna put character profiles for them below the cut o/
The info in this is from some point between Amp Plains and Crystal Cave so pre-Dusknoir betrayal o/
Oriole [Partner]
Species: Shinx
Gender: Male [he/him]
Age: 24
Co-leader of Team Gales alongside Wren
Holder of the Relic Fragment, an ancient artifact that holds a wondrous secret! Or so he insists
The muscle of the team; he's the heaviest hitter on the team.
He's also the encyclopedia of the team; he's well read but still lacking confidence in his knowledge
Despite his lack of confidence and skittishness, he's got a strong sense of justice
Has always wanted to be an explorer since he was a child but got talked down by his ex; his dream got reignited when the Great Albert came onto the scene and his stories inspired Oriole to try again
Absolutely ecstatic at getting to work with his idol in the hunt for Grovyle
His favorite memory is watching Fogbound Lake with the rest of the Guild; there was something extremely comforting about the presence of the Time Gear

Species: Eevee (mistaken for being mid-Umbreon Evolution) [formerly Human]
Gender: Agender [they/it]
Age: 24 [actual age unknown, just assumed to be the same age as Oriole]
Co-leader of Team Gales alongside Oriole
Has a strange power known as Dimensional Dream [Still solidifying the details, this may or may not be the name of it]
The wall of the team; they weather most of the hits
They're the strategist; they're good as making connections and coming up with innovative ideas
They have a lot of trust in Oriole; while they aren't afraid to point out flaws in his logic, they generally accept what he says as fact
Gets bad vibes from Albert but trusts Oriole's judgement and has started warming up to him since being saved at Amp Plains
Has been questioning their morality since Fogbound Lake; the urge to take the Time Gear was uncomfortably strong...
Is physically genderless. It's assumed that it is just a trait that they kept from being Human [this will never be brought up in practice, I just think it's really funny that everyone assumes humans are a genderless species because their only real reference point is Wren]
