After months of waiting, Noxis has finally emerged out of her cocoon, and to Simon’s surprise, she is already a toddler.

When the two are insistent on sleepovers, it’s always Noodle Simon up to the task to host their little slumber parties, Since Espresso Simon tends to be a busy bee and their house is riddled with fragile antiques they don’t want Morri breaking.

5 chocolate cake fishbowls and 25 espresso martinis later, the half sib duo play drunken twister, resulting in Noxis losing her second pair of arms for cheating in twister, and Morri possibly needing to get their stomach pumped for drinking the liquid in the glow stick bracelets.

After Noxis hatched from her cocoon, Simon would take her places to learn new things about the world.

He takes her to a bakery and the first thing Noxis notices is the chocolate croissants, “LoOkS lIkE mE!” She pointed, spouting a joyous tone(?).

Simon chuckles and pats her head, “Indeed they do, let’s get some.” Just blissfully unaware of the looks the bystanders give when seeing Noxis’ face.

Simon has been really excited for his child to “emerge from their wraps” soon, Simon has been closely monitoring Noxis and keeping them as comfortable as possible. He cannot wait to be an excellent parent to his and (Gol)Betty’s child.

Something seems a little off about Simon (espresso) ever since he got back from that Christmas party.

As Noxis got older, so did Espresso. Unlike MushroomNoodle’s Simon, Depresso Espresso aged like milk.

He’d have days of misremembering names, to forgetting his own favorite foods or hobbies. His joints ache, he is prone to getting cold, and require to use a cane to help him walk. His eyesight is terrible, and spent more days sick in bed than up and about.

Noxis gave him a pendant that lets her see what he is up to whenever she is away and visits Simon often, very worried of his declining health and impacted by the dread of losing him.

Noxis couldn’t take it after Simon had a bad fall and damaged his hip and shattered his left ankle. So she devised a plan to tuck him away into a living cage she had created to preserve and hoard her things. Of course she had to explain Simon’s absence by telling folks that Simon passed away in his sleep. With little time, she made preparations and left Ooo with Simon, leaving everyone in the dark on what truly happened to Simon for centuries.

Noxis traveled through her portals from time to time when she is not building an undead army in her messed up dimension to combat intruders. Why? To find the one who gave her life. Golb, the one her father always told to her before bed when they were once a human woman name Betty. For what reason? She felt like she wanted to show her accomplishments of her existence, as she feels like all her life, her goal was to “Keep Simon safe”. Perhaps she was hoping for praises, maybe a new purpose as she accomplished what she perseveres as keeping her father from harm, maybe even deep down she wants to bond with Golb and have both parental figures in her life.

After centuries of searching, she finds a strange void filled with green oddly shaped cubes, worth to just step in to peak, right?

Here is the lil’ grub, all grown up. Her true form is humongous! Roughly 40+ft. And her human form is about 7’2ft.

What happened before the fight.

A continuation from this. Noxis finally reopens the living cage after centuries of Simon being confined. Just as mentioned in a prior post, her living cage was able to preserve Simon enough to keep him from aging further (though Simon’s hygiene certainly wasn’t preserved). Noxis caving to GolBetty’s words and asked Simon if he wanted to continue to live.
