Ugggghh my new job is making me miss all my favourite streamers. And when my streamers are streaming is when I'm drawing. And that's just one of an assortment of reasons why I haven't gotten basically any art done lately sorry

okeydoke as I have not had much energy for working on stuff lately (but lots of motivation) I'm not gonna do proper NaNo with a wordcount or anything, BUT I am gonna make it a goal to get some amount of work done on a writing project every day (at least until I go away on the 24th). Main priority blaseball projects are, in no particular order:
Fic about the ending
Abner fic
Simon's Quest
secret fic(s) :)
get the Talkers exchange set up
Aside from that, I've been poking at more non-blaseball stuff, which is a good excuse for me to plug my writing blog @cyndakip! All my fics get posted there, so if you're interested in my writing beyond just blaseball (especially if you like pokemon), I recommend following me there, since I don't post non-blaseball fics here.
#I'm in a weird place rn where the end of blb is coinciding with me finally feeling ready to get back to nuzlockes#and I very much want to keep writing blb fics! it's just complicated by me getting smacked over the head with pokemon motivation#and separate from that I think it's just been hard for me to work on blb fics knowing that it's over#writing the ending fic in particular means confronting that. and I definitely haven't fully processed it yet and idk when I will#I really truly do want to keep writing blb fics for a long time but I worry there will be not much of an audience anymore#and I know that doesn't matter. I'm gonna write what I want and I know some people will still read it. but yknow. it's rough#also my relationship with pokemon and the nuzlocke community has been really fucking complicated these past few years#to the point where I stopped engaging altogether bc it was stressing me out too much and I had lost all confidence in my writing#this happened to be right before I got into blb. which came along at the perfect time and gave me the community & confidence boost I needed#now it kinda feels like we've come full circle. blb has changed me and now I'm ready to go back with a whole new attitude#I just don't want these two things to be mutually exclusive! I want both! but that's easier said than done#especially bc I haven't had enough energy to work on much of either lately! I want to say things are getting better on that front but#it's complicated. you know how it is with human bodies. treacherous things#the thing is I don't want to waste this. I feel ready for pokemon again and god I missed it and I'm gonna ride this wave of motivation#if I had more energy this would be less of a problem. ah well#gonna get all this done sooner or later#talking moistly

#in a good way ofc#(gonna start rambling today was a good day)#so like. made plans last night to hop on and play some warframe with a friend#thst friend is uber cool. and also american so we dont get to vc and game togethdr much#but i woke up at 8 30#had brekkie#and got on at 9#played gamed with coolest homie for 3 hours#watched the first ep of jjk while eating food w them and takijg a breather from games#as we finished up motivation hit so i had my adhd med abt 20 mins before we finished#cut my hair so i no longer feel wonky abt the length#tried a new way of styling the cut and it works really well#then went to the mall to get some things ive been meaning to get for years#came back home cleaner my room#saw facebook advert for a job opportunity i have been seeking out for quite some time#sent in a very formal and well written email application while figuring out how to go further in depth about the things i said#went back to room and sewed on the last remaining badge for my scout uniform#checked up on fb for scout things happening tonight#hyped myself up to go#night went better than i thought it would and nobody got unreasonably upset and everyone stayed levelheaded#and!! i got secretary!! one of the four core exec roles!!!#came home and chatted to parents about an event they went to#it was just. such a good day#and now i eeby#ren rambles#OH AND NOT TO MENTION#before i came home but after scouts#i talked with my closest friends abt my hyperfixations (and the ones we share!!) and it was sososo fun#i love sharing hyperfixes with friends#<3333

confession: i took french throughout middle and high school because of christophe. now whenever i use it i think goddamn. this paper cutout child really changed the course of my life.
(the boop stuff made me realize that interacting is so fun so here i am, interacting!! :3)
NGL I'VE ALSO BEEN CONSIDERING LEARNING FRENCH BC OF CHRISTOPHE....... it'd be cool to have another language i can use! also, it would be nice to know of any nuances that translation websites don't elaborate on when i use them for fic purposes lol.
when i was republishing Just Business, there was some super nice person that i still think about from time to time who would comment on the chapters after i uploaded them and help correct some of my/Christophe's french. a very cool person, i feel forever in their debt. there was also a person on ffn, a prolific gregstophe writer by the name of mizuni-no-neko, who wrote at least one (maybe more?) gregstophe fic in french and i'd love to be able to pull off that kind of dedication.
#the booping was very fun!! especially if it leads to more interacting :3 i'm prone to keeping my interacting in tag talks like this#but maybe i should try reaching out more....#anyway YEAH!! even if ur reason for learning a skill might be perceived as cringe it's just passion at the end of the day#if passion for some paper guy from 25 years is what motivates u to learn a new language... that's so cool#who is anyone to judge the way one betters oneself
