ah geez. noticed something while listening through the soundtrack again. so as far as i’m aware “faint glow” (the chapter 2 menu music) is one of the only tracks in the game that uses a standard acoustic guitar soundfont (the others being “a town called hometown” and “you can always come home”). but i only just noticed that from around 0:00 - 0:51 that guitar is just like. having a conversation basically with a piano while they’re accompanied by sleigh bells and choral voice, instruments associated with the holiday sisters and gaster respectively. the guitar plays a lead in to the piano and the piano plays don’t forget. “faint glow.” …hm.
