goth music sounds good in theory for me. reverbs, bass lines, macabre melancholic themes, minor keys. why don't I like most goth bands I've listened to then?!

#someone put molchat doma in the goth music category. I don't know if it's right but I'll say I like a couple of their songs #toska. sudno. tancevat. they all have higher bpm than the others so that's probably it?#the others aren't bad but they're slow. too slow. I wouldn't change the radio station if they were playing but I'm also nlt searching for #them #I also like some Oingo Boingo stuff but that's not goth that's new wave isn't it #and the hbo chernobyl soundtrack that's soooo gooood #none of this is goth music but it's all goth adjacent isn't it. why am I always like this #pointless microblogging
