I get it's a thing to get seen in this Internet hellscape but goodness one of the easiest ways to get a block from me is to intentionally tag something that has nothing to do with what you're posting about in order to get hits/eyes on what you're doing. Not even "oh if you like this, you might like this", just "here's a thing I made, here's a bunch of unrelated fandoms so this shows up in unrelated tags."

#yes we live in a capitalist hellscape with increasingly user unfriendly social media #I get why people do this #they want clicks #they want attention #it bugs the hell out of me #that people are accepting this as normal behavior #it destroys search engine functionality in some ways more than search engines are trying to destroy it #and is little different than more typical clickbait #what it tells me is that I shouldn't trust you as a poster hence the block #sometimes it's accidental but most of the time it is very much not #no one is making you tag a dozen manhwa on a post that covers one
