MPD headcanons

(But mostly Takagi because I’m biased and also because we don’t know much about him anyways)

-Drunk Takagi is just basically emotional, clingy, and just wants to be loved some attention, bonus if Satou is present

-Chiba is surprisingly fashionable, and helps Takagi dress up for his dates with Satou

-Takagi either dresses nicely, or just put clothes just because there’s no in between (case in point, the matchmaking case vs. robber case)

-Shiratori and Kobayashi meet up at least once a week (provided that no cases pile up) and would either eat out somewhere fancy or just have cuddle times (they’re too mush it’s cute lol)

-Megure is the father figure of his group, that’s why he’ll know something’s up with his subordinates (all his years of detective work comes in handy)

-That’s why it also pains him that he failed to see that there was something off about Takagi before he left early for Hokkaido

-Never approach Satou if she hadn’t have her morning coffee yet, one of the detectives found out the hard way

-Takagi is the only one who can approach her pre-coffee, though with caution

-Hot topic: Satou’s fanclub is just giving Takagi a hard time because they don’t want Satou to get broken-hearted again (they’re like overprotective brothers and uncles)

-Yumi made a group chat with Satou, Takagi, China, Shiratori, Megure, and Naeko (shenanigans ensues) can make a fic out of this lol

-No one actually heard Takagi genuinely laugh, but when he did, it was a mix of snorting and wheezing, it was a sight to behold

-From then on, they try to make him laugh like that more often rather than the nervous laugh he defaults to

-Satou once joined a ramen eating challenge because she was very hungry from a hard day at work; needless to say, she got herself a full stomach and the grand prize of premium onsen passes for two

-Satou can squat Takagi; no explanation needed

-Ever since Chiba and Naeko resolved the UST between them (post file 1017), they managed to go eat out without combusting but failed spectacularly they’re just the blushing mess
