i mean, they’re twins. aaron is often hc as a child of apollo bc of medicine but sometimes i see ppl make andrew a son of ares even though he’s a perfect fit for apollo. ppl might view him as too dark or intense for apollo but that’s literally what apollo is.

and i’m not trying to say “oh aaron represents the light side of apollo and andrew represents the dark side” bc no. i’m saying both of them show the light and the dark. aaron is smart, he is education and healing, but he is blunt and harsh with his words. he has apollo’s quick temperament and competitive spirit. andrew has the dark sides of apollo, yes, plagues and arrows (or knives) that can kill in an instant, but he is also a protector. he protects children and his targets are never made targets out of malice, but self defense. andrew has the lyricism of apollo and the protective spirit of the god, alongside his wrath and anger.

also apollos stories fit them so well. apollo killing the serpent that hurt his mother? apollo (andrew) tricking artemis into killing orion (tilda)? the man’s stories live inside of the minyards and in their genes.
