Update: 10-31-23

Happy Halloween everyone!!! I'm slowly starting to get back into the swing of things, and pretty soon I'll be able to get some of the Patreon shorts posted for Patrons. I still recommend dropping down to the 3 USD tier until I can rearrange the Patreon to my satisfaction. I'm in the process of flip-flopping between Greenwarden shorts and a new book idea I'm chewing on. Coding for Greeenwarden mobile is actually going well. I finally figured out media queries and streamlining the coding process, so it should be (🤞) relatively easy to fix GW's jank mobile version.

I'm also working on a general story outline for Erinys to start writing. Coding is done, including media queries for mobile, and TKP's first chapter is coming along slowly. The main snag is trying to fit character creation organically into the story without it seeming hamfisted. I've actually gone back and read through the proof-of-concept version on dashingDon to remember how I managed the first time, and try to improve on that.

Beyond that, I'm gnawing through Fractal Noise by Christopher Paolini to kickstart me writing again. I have opinions on it that don't matter here, but it -- much like everything the past couple months -- is slow going (and doesn't really catch my attention tbqh, but I've got problems and I. Can't put it down until I finish. Help).

I'm having trouble looking through the archives so sorry if you already answered this, but what would the gw ROs do if they accidently hurt Tracker? not so much an oops-I-was-stretching-and-elbowed-you-in-the-face hurt but the classic oops-I-got-possessed-by-some-weird-mind-control-thing-before-I-came-back-to-my-senses-only-after-you-were-already-bloody-to-up-the-angst hurt that is most definitely a guilty pleasure for me (hence, anonymous)? ...or just the elbow in the face, that is good too

Hmmmmmm... I think Bautista and Nazeri would be particularly broken up about it. That cuts right into Bautista's gnarled trauma tissue surrounding their intimate relationships, and might throw them into a PTSD episode that'll be hard to come back from.

For Nazeri, it would feed into their fear that they're becoming a monster. They're supposed to be the best, they're supposed to be the one-in-a-million Hunter who stays human -- but in the end they're just like everyone else. And it's their fault, because they made choices.

Devin would be -- unsurprised. For reasons. Trace would be surprised, and both of them would try their best to beg forgiveness.

[i partially emerge from the swamp muck, my eyes just peering over the surface] speaking of reality tv.... if the cast (gw or otherwise) were cast in (bear with me) a romance reality show, e.g. the bachelor/ette, love island, etc, what archetypes would they fill. what would be the tea. [i draw closer to land in anticipation without rising further in the muck]

Bautista: Generally nice person, either gets eliminated because they're too nice and the ratings are low or gets to the semifinale. The only tea from them is that they bitch about other contestants in the confession rooms sometimes, for justifiable reasons

Nazeri: Hypercompetitive guy that gets around. The tea is that they're trying very hard to win which makes them come across as two-faced. Catches feelings mid-way through the season and undergoes a major character arc where they're struggling with the concept of "is it too late for me to change and for them to trust me?"

Devin: Living, laughing, loving. This is the best time of their life. Who gives a shit about the romance angle, they're on the beach. The tea is that they're often passive aggressive.

Trace: Person with the highest body count and the most insane moments on camera. Surprisingly no tea, they're just crazy.

What’s the easiest way to make the GW & TKP cast laugh & what are there laughs like?

Bautista: Endearing TikToks of animals doing stupid things, Tracker doing something adorable. Quiet chuckle, or an even quieter exhale of breath.

Nazeri: Laughs at anything they consider delightful (with several exclamations of "mashallah!" if something is really adorable). Has an anime princess laugh. Sometimes scream laughs.

Devin: Puns. Snort giggle laugher.

Trace: Slapstick comedy. Wheezy pervert laugh. Think the snake from "Jungle Book."

Sibir: Puns as well. Monotone "heheh."

Lisandro: Bawdy, ribald jokes and japes. Scream laugher. Tends to slap his (uncrippled) leg.

Idali: Jokes at the expense of assholes, often with a public audience. Laughs with her mouth closed?? A mhm-hm-hm and a side eye kind of deal. If it’s really wholesome and whole-heartedly funny (and you’re in private) you’ll catch her having a very loud giggle fit.

Tesias: Anime villain laugh. What do they find funny? Who knows. Could be a rock on the side of the road.

I don't have official skin swatches but I do have official descriptions for the TKP cast!

I'll add an additional official description for the GW cast too.

Bautista: Tall, well-muscled and square, and covered with a soft layer of pudge. Face shape that's somewhere between oval and square, black hair, black eyes. Their hair is cut short, and they're always seen with their dog tags. Red-brown skin. Their nose looks a little busted.

Nazeri: Average height (if a little on the tall side), lean, muscular in the way someone who does parkour is. Suntanned yellow-brown skin. Catlike pupils and bright, golden eyes. Asad has dark, curly hair he tends to slick back, and stubble. Amir and Asiyeh are both hijabi, and Amir tends to wear very loud patterns and a pair of (fake) glasses. Amir is a fan of frogs.

Devin: Short, and very softly, roundly built. Dark tawny skin, covered in freckles. They have very long, shiny, black 3B hair and a little chin stubble. They occasionally like to let it grow out into a goatee, but they don't like the feeling of having a mustache so their top lip is clean-shaven. Their eyes are a very bright, leaf green.

Trace: Average height and scarily skinny. Sharp triangular face, long limbs, long fingers. Brittle, thin platinum blond hair, porcelain white skin, and bright blue-gray eyes. The spaces between their fingers and the insides of their forearms have track mark scars, though they're not quite sure what they mean for this body.

Sibir: short, squat, heavily muscled but hides it under layers of clothing. Looks like An Average Guy, or at least tries to. Long black hair, black eyes, dark bronze skin. Square, chiseled face.

Lisandro: muscled but naturally so, walks with a cane, triangular, average height. Hooked nose. Warm ochre skin, wavy brown hair, partial hererochromia (one eye has a section of green — the rest is dark brown).

Idali: soft, hourglass shaped with a large, soft belly and rounded shoulders. Long, curly black hair in ringlets. Hooked nose. Tawny beige skin. Black eyes, moles on her face, arms, and legs. Average height.

Tesias: tall, lanky, lean. Thickly muscled legs. Pale, sickly beige skin. Wavy dark brown hair, grown to shoulder length and pulled back into a ponytail or Geralt of Rivia style half-up do. Wears a mask that hides the left half of their face and right eye. The mask has no eye hole on the left side. The right eye is covered with black mesh so you can’t see their eye color.
