Nesha’s 38th Birthday Bash! 💖

Technically still on hiatus, but I had to come back for this. Happy birthday @mychenrymadness / @neshatriumphs! Hope you get all the good things you deserve.

On to the questionnaire~

What is your favorite thing about Nesha? There’s so much I love about Nesha, how am I supposed to pick just one? She’s always there for us, whenever we need an ear. And not just what she does for us; her work with children and her activism is also inspiring and just shows more of what an amazing, strong person she is. I don’t think I know a more compassionate person, and yet she’s even more amazing because even though she does no harm, she takes no shit. Beyond all that, she’s funny as all hells, grounded like no one else, and I’m just so proud to consider her a friend.

Funniest thing that Nesha has ever said in your opinion? This is not the funniest thing Nesha has ever said, but it’s the first that comes to mind because I actually have it screenshotted - her review on one of my fics: “I read “pill” and my lil’ butthole tightened up in nervousness.” I don’t even know why, it was just so unexpected that I let out the ugliest hyena laugh when I first read it. 

Has Nesha impacted your life in any way? I don’t know how many times I’ve randomly posted about being down, and she always comes by and checks on me. I don’t really have that sort of support coming from older people I can look up to most of the time, and it’s amazing to get her perspective and just have her in my life. I think overall, she just helped me be more accepting of myself and have a healthier outlook towards life. Just understanding through her that some people have got to grow on their own, and I can only do so much, and just to be compassionate. I also just love how passionate she is about fandom and writing. That’s inspiring for me, too, to see an older person who has a successful, amazing life without losing her own interests. And also seeing another ace person in the fandom, not to mention an ace adult? That’s cool for me, too.

What is your favorite Nesha quote? Nesha has had so many iconic lines, but I’m totally drawing a blank. I can’t remember everything, but here are some favorite lines as of recent:

“Jace acts a total of like 3 times after season 3.” 

“Nawl, Mane. If you got a famous this dude sniffing around, you not finna go full hobosexual for homely ass Henry.”

Any other message for the birthday girl? I don’t know what more to say other than I love you, and I hope we will be friends for a long time.

This is real.  Yes.  On the fantastic 4 cartoon back in the early 90's.  The Human Torch spit some friend zone bars about one of them hoes that aint give him no ass in highschool.  This was some real DC Comics ass shit of Marvel to do.
