EAH had such a good premise and I'm upset that it discontinued esp since they seemed to be introducing new characters π. OH, seeing all the Barbie talk reminded me of this Barbie 12 dancing princesses ballet video set I used to have where u could learn the dances. I dont think I've seen to many Barbie movies but I can say with absolute certainty that Shine is the BEST Barbie song -π
i know π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί apparently Mattel cancelled EAH bc the dolls weren't selling anymore, plus Disney decided to release Descendants around the same time (same "fairytale people having children" concept). it's such a shame :< I actually like both series so it's sad to see one do better than the other.
Shine really was a β¨bopβ¨ like my favourite songs tended to be the ones that were in the stories because I'm a musical fan (hi Princess and the Pauper, Island Princess, and Diamond Castle) bUT Shine's lyrics are so meaningful πππππ
when i think of 12 dancing princesses though it's the opening theme that always pops in my head tho π³ it's so magical! the one where the silhouette's dance... i always tried to copy them but alas, they are many and i am one child doing all of their moves

hey hey heyyy~β i got summoned by barbie and eah talk πππ briar is my fave honestly we stan π€§π€§ but i also remember liking cerise hood (was that her name??? my memory of watching eah is fuzzy) at some point,,, i was having an old barbie movie marathon before and i kept rewatching the fairytopia trilogy bc yes but i ended up stopping that and watching princess and pauper then diamond castle bc i wanted to sing along s u e m e π

And also I love Red Riding Hood concepts (i like all fairy tale concepts in general.. haha) like I was able to predict early on what she was hiding but for the show to really go there with having her dad as the πΊ like damn no chill π³

the fairytopia series was ngl rly good. like it was never my favourite as a kid bc of the lack of songs + me being more into princesses over fairies (... even tho i wore fairy costumes like for 3 halloweens but HUSH) bUT i vibe with them. i especially liked the second fairytopia bc wow both fairies AND mermaids? that's the best of both worlds π€©

three musketeers just finished! i'll probably pull up diamond castleβ i really wanna listen to the songs uwu~ ahhh staving off boredom can be.. π£ usually i just go read some manga/manhwa/light novels, or rewatch some childhood TV shows and movies to try and resolve it... although the simultaneously worst and best ways I get to cure my boredom is with my friends bc we all lose braincells around each other π
...im not saying you should watch some childhood shows to fix boredom, but who knows?

unfortunately there's no barbie doll emoji (the audacity!) so we're sticking with OwO-chan~ honestly your taste is π€©πβ¨π honestly Barbieβs Christmas Carol is an underrated Christmas cartoon, I loved her character development!
ALSO Island Princess in general- the songs and the atmosphere and even the characters eye- I genuinely bop with βLove is for Peasantsβ (I still prefer Premingerβs βHow Can I Refuseβ, but itβs a close second).
Diamond Castle is also really good! Their friendship and the struggles they face is so real to me... and obviously the songs πππ the only hmmm for me was the two male leads- they just donβt have the same impact as Julian & King Dominic from PatP, or just their male lead predecessors in general π₯Ί itβs a shame bc duo male leads can have a really unique dynamic imo! it doesnβt even have to be romantic chemistry, just smth to flesh them out more~
I need to be stopped I will literally talk about Barbie (or even anything similar like monster high/ever after high or bratz or even winx club or just OG girl targeted media for hours i have zero restraint- D.N.E. me as in do not enable me)

I absolutely love Phantom of the Opera! Personally more of a Broadway ver fan than movie~ The version I've personally watched was the 25th Anniv with Sierra & Ramin!!! The costumes were so lovely~ lmao, I mean in terms of ballet we have the OG Autumn Troupe Leader Zen so that's a start!!
SAME! I genuinely wished if I danced around a gateway to another world would open π
I enjoyed both!! I watched Monster High, then got into Ever After High... Actually, just last week my irl friends and I group watched all of Ever After High~
