The house was eerily silent. Ash was in his room trying to stay gangsta but failing as he felt tears in his eyes. Fez was already a wreck on the sofa. His hands angrily wiping away at his eyes.

Just a couple of hours before, you were in the kitchen preparing sandwiches for the three of you and Faye. Fez had been ever so quiet since him and Ash returned from work. Anyone would’ve thought they had argued but Ash was completely fine.

“Babe, you good?” You asked your boyfriend who was sat staring into space on the kitchen counter.

“Yeah.” He replied, he really was deep in thought.

“Yo my bitchass is ready for yo sandwich Y/N.” Ash grinned, snatching the first one he could see that was ready.

“Be grateful, I don’t make those for just anybody.” You laughed.

“Faye come grab a sandwich.” You called out to the girl who was sat smoking a blunt on the sofa. She was quick to put it out and rush over.

“Thank-you.” She smiled lightly. You sliced the last sandwich and shared your half with Fez.

“You feeling sick or something? Go lay down if you don’t feel good bub.” You looked him in the eye but he was avoiding eye contact. After knowing this man for the majority of your life, you knew when he was hiding something. He’d always prioritise telling you everything - no matter the circumstance. This time around, seemed way different.

“I’m just thinkin’ ma.” He smiled lightly but you knew better than that. The two of you headed over to the table where Faye and Ash were happily scoffing their sandwiches. You started eating your sandwich, still unconvinced that something was swirling your boyfriends brain.

“Ion think it’s a good idea you bein’ here anymore Y/N.” Fez announced and Ash nearly choked on his sandwich. Your heart dropped. What had you done?

“Excuse me?” You were taken back, where had this come from.

“It’s not safe fo you to be here.” Fez watched your face twist in confusion and sadness.

“What the fuck are you sayin’ bro?” Ash questioned angrily.

“Business is gettin’ tougher. We fuck around with way more bad people than what we used to. Ion want you around this shit no more.” Fez told you.

“You’re not doing this to me.” You declared, not believing a word he was saying. Fez let out a sigh.

“I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t love you.” He told you.

“That’s it then? You want me out. You want me to go live in my car? Not that it’s a bad thing but I mean my own boyfriend doesn’t think I can protect myself.” You shoved your plate away, suddenly feeling a loss of appetite.

“I ain’t say you can’t protect yoself, I just can’t risk you getting hurt.” Fez admitted.

“You dumb as fuck.” Ash snapped to his brother.

“That’s it then? I pack my bags and go. Is that what you really want? After all of these fucking years, you’re finally done with me? What the actual fuck Fezco?” You held back a sob and pushed your chair back.

“Baby don’t make this harder-“ He couldn’t finish his sentence because you’d grabbed the nearest trash bag to prepare all of your clothes in. The door to your shared bedroom slammed, leaving the three of them at the table. Ash practically had steam coming out of his ears.

“I know you didn’t just say that shit to her.” Ash began.

“You ain’t even talk to me about that? What happened to fuckin’ tellin’ each other everything?” Ash felt betrayed. His own brother hadn’t discussed this with him and they never hid anything from each-other. He felt even more betrayed that the only sister/mother figure he physically had left was packing her bags.

“She dies in this shit and I ain’t never gon’ forgive myself.” Fez told his brother but he wasn’t having any of it.

“She’d take a bullet for me. For you. For us. You’re a fucking asshole.” Ash shoved his plate just like you did and followed your footsteps.

“It’s not my place but she was telling me about the two of you the other day. Said you was the one she’d marry. Told me you and her shared all your firsts together.” Faye told Fez. Fez took a sharp breath in, not wanting matters to be made worse.

“All due respect but you ain’t gonna find another like her.”

As the tears fell from your eyes, you made sure to pack the shared picture frame of you and Fez that laid upon the bedside cabinet. Just the picture itself made you cry and by cry, you’d started hardcore sobbing.

“Easy Y/N.” Ash rushed in, wrapping his arms around you. Boy you loved this kid like he was your own brother.

“You wanna know something for real Ash?” He nodded as you’d slightly calmed down.

“I’ve had glocks pointed to my head and what happened back there just about made the gun situation seem like the easiest thing to go through.” You admitted. Ash didn’t really know how to comfort people, especially you. He’d only ever seen you cry once and that was when Fez asked you to move in. The love you’d been given by the people in this home was nothing like you had growing up. Fez was the first one to ever show you how to really love and it seemed vice versa.

“Please don’t go Y/N, I need you.” Ash whispered.

“I gotta go kid, I gotta go.” Fez remained at the table as you and Ash left the room. Just like Ash with you, Fez had hardly seen you or his younger brother upset. Now he was witnessing a double homicide with both of your tears flowing freely.

“Don’t make this harder baby, please don’t cry.” Fez went to come over and reassure you, but you pushed him away. Faye was watching from her usual spot on the couch.

“I was there for you in your darkest times. I was there for you in your darkest nights. But I wander, where will you be? When I’m at my worst and practically down on my knees.” Your words were cutting him up, he couldn’t bring himself to even give you an explanation.

“And you said you had my back.” You sniffled, poking his chest in anger.

“Whoever is coming for you or whatever situation you’re gonna be involved with, know I wouldn’t of changed being by your side for nobody. I ain’t never loved nobody like I love you. And you know what the hardest part of this is Fez?” Your voice cracked and tears fell from his eyes. It was hard for him too but nobody could see that right now.

“Is that you made me seem like the easiest thing to let go.” You grabbed your car keys from the bowl. Ash ran to you, throwing his arms around you. He didn’t want you to go. Fuck, Fez didn’t want you to go. He just couldn’t promise your safety anymore.

“I love you kid, keep practicing your math yeah?” You kissed the top of his head before turning on your heel.

“I’m gonna sit in my car for ten minutes. I’m gonna let you think about your decision Fez. I’m not running away but I’m not begging to stay. If I don’t see you in ten minutes, than I know that we’re done but just know, I fucking love you.” The moment you stepped out the door, Fez broke down. Ash had no sympathy for him. Faye felt kinda bad. She understood what it was like to have a boyfriend that wanted to protect their other half.

“If you don’t run after her, god fuckin’ help me ima leave to.”

miss perez is definitely the kind of girlfriend to take pictures of you off guard. when she shows you them, you’d be icked out by the awkward angle she captured you from, but she would 100% assure you that you’re the most beautiful person in the world and you look good at every angle. it’s true, i mean.
